This is basically the Xenoblade Chronicles fans know and love and fought for back when Operation Rainfall was a thing and Nintendo America had no faith that it would sell well. Well it did! And now it’s portable, has better controls(no wiimote needed) and loads faster due to the better hardware. The biggest difference is that the characters have head and hand facelifts and look more up to current gen standards with higher detailing.

I bought this for my brother digitally, sense I got the collectors edition. He has put so many hours in to it he was mad at him self for not trying it out on the original wii.

Gifted this to a friend who was able to redeem it without any issues! A classic JRPG and is an absolute must share.

Without being long winded, this game is fantastic. I'm REALLY feelin' it! The quality of life improvements over the original make the game shine, things like quest markers on the map make its literal thousands of side quests much more manageable. The combat is fluid, fun, and pretty to watch. And the environments...wow. The world is lush, expansive, and the colors just pop. The story is pretty fun as well. Buy it!

I miss out on this game when it came out on the Wii and 3DS many years ago. I actually started with the 2nd game on the Switch and fell in love with it. I'm not very far in but I think I may even love this one more. The remastered graphics are fantastic. The game also seems less confusing/convoluted than the 2nd one which I like. I think this is a must have for any RPG Switch owner for their library.

Great port of a great game. A little different than your normal action RPG, there is no "swing your sword" button. Attacking is automatic, but you position yourself in real time and use skills that synergize with your teammates. You can also take control of said teammates. The story is great, really grabs you in the first hour. Highly recommend this game.

being waiting a while for this game. i love J Rpg especially when it released and i get them digital so i lose the game cartridge

This game gave endless hours of entertainment, between the story, side quests and extra content after the ending. Tons of QoL improvements over the original as well. A must buy for an JRPG fan!

Definitive editionis right - this is the best version of one of the best RPGs of the last decade. It runs well on the Switch (better than Xenoblade Chronicles 2) and is absolute worth the full cost as it is long and full of great content as well as a million sidequests on top of that.

This is my 2nd Xenoblade game, with Xenoblade 2 being my first. I absolutely love this game! I do like Xenoblade 2 better, as I think the story and obviously the graphics are better.. but this one offers a better combat system. I wouldn't consider this game to be too challenging. I'm on Chapter 13 right now, so I'm nearing the end, and I've loved every minute of it.
