What can I say besides that this game is an amazing game If you are into large open world games this game is massive. You can pretty much go anywhere you see. That mountain in the horizon yes you can climb that, those canopies of the trees yes you can go there too, into the heart of a volcano why not. Yes many of the side quests can get repetative go find X or go kill X but I can't tell you how many times I would start a quest then end up just exploring for hours forgetting the main reason I even started exploring. A must buy for all Wii U owners.

If you like space sci fi, giant robots, humanity losing everything and fighting for survival, and a deep combat system this game represents all of that and some more. This was voted to be my #2 of my top 5 games of 2015. If you own a Wii U it's time to dust it off and get yourself this epic game. It took me about 40 hours to complete and that's with a decent amount of exploring. Make sure you have online enabled if you wish to access extra features (don't worry, you can still play solo while connected). Oh, and Elma is hot.

A Fantastic RPG for the Wii U and only the Wii U, with a huge open world and a great story. A must have for every Wii U owner

Addictive in a good way. Hours of fun and satisfaction doing in the bad guys( monsters not people). Monsters galore some even kind of cute and harmless. loads of interactive data for strategy and roll play. Great alternative to the more graphic type of games , equally gratifying. If you plays any of the xenoblade games then you will become an expert at this one. This is a strategy and skill game so if you are just used to just a shooter game you might find this one a little complicated.

Beautiful graphics, runs smooth. Very fun. Game play is great, story is well written, all around solid rpg experience. The Wii U needs more games like this.

Graphics are awesome. Gameplay is great. The story line is very interesting. Makes you think of what to do next.

I've only put a handful of hours into this game thus far, but it's honestly pretty darned enjoyable. If you, like me, simply enjoy RPG gameplay elements done pretty well, and aren't necessarily worried about playing through a phenomenal role-playing narrative, and/or if you enjoy pseudo-MMORPG-style progression and combat (and some actual large-scale multiplayer combat experiences and social elements), then this game is for you. It's pretty gorgeous, and it's got a freaking MASSIVE world full of a pretty huge variety of enemies, rather complex combat systems (easy to do but tough to master all the particulars and/or win against particularly tough enemies, etc.), and a plethora of equipment and items. Honestly, if you don't simply enjoy these elements and this type of gameplay, itself, (exploring huge worlds and enemy types, fighting lots of things, leveling up, improving yours and your party's equipment, etc.), then you may not find this game very amazing. Out of all games in existence, it is not necessarily the greatest game of all time, or one that just anyone would probably pick up and enjoy playing through. But, for its tailored genre, it's a very good game with lots of TLC put into its gameplay systems, and one you can easily sink over 100 hours into. Lots of RPG bang for your buck, :) Out of all games

This game is phenomenal!! It does have a learning curve as the tutorials are somewhat limited but once you start figuring out how all the battle mechanics mesh together it becomes tons of fun to play. A massive open world experience that I personally have trouble putting down. It always throws something new your way. Building affinity with characters is fun and can be rewarding. Would highly recommend this title to anyone who enjoys a large, long RPG.

This game is absolutely great. Tossed into a giant world to explore slowly on foot as you gain new skills, gear and eventually get your giant robot. Tons of characters to party with and do quests for to learn more about them along with an interesting story with a massively confusing and opening cliffhanger ending. If you like action rpgs or just exploring around large open areas in interesting new environments you can't get a game better than this.

When the first Xenoblade Chronicles came out on the Wii, I wasn't ready for it. No one was ready for the greatness that is Xenoblade Chronicles. Character development, engaging storylines, fantastic graphics, Xenoblade Chronicles was everything a JRPG fan needed. Years later, Xenoblade Chronicles X was announced for the Wii U. My mouth began salivating at the thought of being thrown into yet another EPIC game within this universe. It was everything Xenoblade Chronicles was, and more. I was not disappointed. You won't be either, I guarantee it.

Expansive RPG. Lots of world to explore. Can out a lot of hours into this one. If you liked original Xenoblade then you will love this as well.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is the premiere RPG experience on the Wii U. The production values are high, with full voice acting and sharp visuals. The grand vistas you'll traverse while exploring Mira are at times breathtaking. This game also uses, and refines, the excellent battle system from its predecessor. My only complaint would be that some of the text is quite small and almost impossible to read from short distance (i.e. from the couch)

This is one of those games where you NEED to read the manual, and even with that, the game is a little confusing to get started with. If you played Xenoblade Chronicles, it's more of the same. Combat is very similar, except a little harder to follow. The characters, so far (at about 10 hours in), are kinda forgettable compared to XC and the story isn't too grasping. The game shines in the looks department with some absolutely amazing landscapes. Pick it up with your GCU, the game is easily worth $40.

It's a great game, great story and amazing graphics. Nintendo , this is a Home Run. A++++

If you are an rpg fan then don't hesitate to pick this game up! It's astounding how much content they were able to cram onto that disc. 30 hrs into the game you will still be uncovering new things and discovering new places the world is simply enormous and incredibly beautiful. If your looking for a new world to sink your teeth into for over 100 hrs this is your game.

I got this game for my little brother for Christmas and quickly found myself usurping it from his grasp. I played through FFVII, Xenogears, Parasite Eve, etc. when I was in middle school and this took me back a little bit as far as a straight forward RPG. I wish more developers took a risk with the Wii U. This game is gorgeous and fun, definitely give it a shot.

Expansive story great characters open world. It's just that good.

This game is a spiritual successor to Xenoblade Chronicle that came out on the Wii. However, it is not necessary to have played that game in order to enjoy this one. The game has an enormous amount of content and is a blast to play through. I recommend reading through the in-game manual as it will help in order to better understand the battles and gear.

Visually spectacular. Great story line. Outstanding game play.
