Receive the item, and the door to the printer was broken. They had to know it was broken because they had it taped up with the tape thinking they had there for a safety feature for packing and the door fell off in the peg that holds the door and at the top was broken. You could plainly see it pieces that you snap in are very flimsy and snap off so they don’t stay connected. Very disappointed in this product, I need a new door. I just got it less than a week ago. No owners manual included. Everything is on a cd nobody even have CDs. The laptops don’t even play a cd. They need to come up with something else.

Setup is ridiculously hard, software is NOT user friendly at all, recalibration required after every print or of it sits more than a few days. 6/10 prints were complete garbage. Very high learning curve and definitely not for beginners. Seems very expensive for something so hard to use, not recommended at all.

Started out loving the printer the print quality was good, the ability to use 3rd party filaments is a welcome change to the DaVinci line of printers. Then the problems started, it stopped loading filament it would load all the way to the extruder but it would stop short of going into the hot end. Then the Bowden tube fitting broke right past the extruder which allowed the filament tube to move and not push filament into the hot end. I gave up on the problems and took it back beings I only had it 2 weeks.

I got this printer a little over a year ago now and have gone from complete novice knowing absolutely nothing about 3D printers to fairly knowledgeable. When I first got this it wasn't calibrated very well but still gave fairly good prints. After I learned how to properly calibrate the machine, and what some proper settings are to use for PLA and ABS, the prints have been outstanding. Don't rely on the automatic calibration tool to get it perfect. I recommend looking up a step-by-step guide online. Is this printer going to work perfectly right out of the box? No, probably not. You are buying a 400-600 dollar piece of technology still in its infancy, so expect some bumps along the way. Expect to have to learn how to take off the hot-end and clear a jam. (I've only had one so far) I see some negative reviews on this printer, and it seems most come down to having a problem, and simply giving up. For the price of this printer you're going to be hard-pressed to find a better one. It's enclosed, has a heated aluminum bed, and accepts third-party filament. My biggest piece of advice on if you are on the fence about buying this would have to be this: If you are willing to watch youtube tutorials, read and learn from the how-to guides of experienced printers, and spend hours tinkering to make this thing work to the best of its ability, get it. If you want to get this shipped to you and be printing perfect prints out of the box and never have to worry about learning, I'd recommend you look elsewhere and question whether you want a 3D printer just yet.

I got this when it was on sale for $200 off, and I could be happier. Set up was easy, prints great. I don't do extreme detailed, at least not yet, but I have yet to have a failed print. Changing colors and material is easy as it automatically extrudes a length to clean the nozzle. A few quick notes: To use third party filaments, you will need to print a bracket. There are several options online. To setup the WiFi, you will need to connect it to a computer with USB first. I did this on my laptop, while I use my desktop for the modeling. With the wireless now I can print from my desktop with no worries. I do recommend setting it with a reserved IP on your network.

It’s great for beginners small issues with hot plate and getting software once accomplished simple to start making 3D prints

Do NOT purchase this product. It simply does not perform as advertised. First you have to apply glue to the platform cover just to get the print started. Then, you get to watch the print head knock the object over and just start randomly pushing out the thermoplastic. I called the company, and received….nothing useful. I’m planning to box this complete piece of junk back up and try to return it tomorrow. Before you waste $300 on this piece of junk you should seriously consider avoiding the aggravation and just give your money to a homeless person.

Its okay, good starter printer. Lots of little glitches that take a lot of time and patients to get figured out

Its has a great quality for printing. i mainly use it for my architectural projects

So far the performance is good. Does require a lot of reading with the user manual. Recommend highly to read it very much. There is a lot of information one needs to know before an during use. Lots of variables. Upon reading the warranty, more or less after purchasing it, good luck with it. They really don't cover much, an you as the consumer have to pay for any an all shipping for it to be worked on. So think twice.

Very good printer for the price. Has some quirks as any printer does but all around a nice unit. Is capable of super smooth prints as a stock machine in abs and pla.

The davinci pro 1.0 works very well, as with all 3d printers some setup and knowledge is required to use the 3d printer in the proper way,

Fairly easy to setup and use for beginners. Trying to find a good program to pair with it.

Nice print quality, easy to load, but jams easily.

Bought this 3D printer for my Son for Christmas 2023 and he loves it.

Overall setup took a while. The projects did not want to stick to the bed. After some calibrations and a glue stick it works fine.

After only a few days of owning this printer, the nozzle clogged during the second print and nothing was coming out of the print head. I attempted to follow their procedure for unclogging the nozzle using the small wires they include for that purpose, but it was jammed so tight the wires were bending even with a heated nozzle. I eventually had to remove the assembly to try to clear the clog but that didn't work either and the thermistor wire broke off in the process. I tried to find a replacement but couldn't find one so I called the company to get a replacement. I found out they don't sell replacement thermistor wires, you have to buy an entire assembly but since I had removed the assembly to clear the nozzle when their process hadn't worked, they said I voided my warranty on the entire printer. I think the thermistor was poorly installed and that is what caused the clog in the first place, which would also explain why heating the nozzle and using the wires they provide to clear the clog was not working either. For them to void the warranty on my one week old printer because I had to remove the nozzle assembly to try to clear the clog, is wrong and totally unacceptable!!! I had originally planned on adding their laser assembly to my printer too but when they said they were voiding the warranty on my entire printer, I immediately returned the printer and exchanged it for a different brand from a company known for excellent customer service. In my opinion; XYZ Printing has lousy customer service and they look for every reason they can to void the warranty on your printer instead of providing free replacement parts and keeping satisfied and happy customers.

Worked as intended. Useful for beginning printers.
