Quality is great but the one thing is that it doesn't allow us to stream YouTube TV. It streams normal YouTube though.

The color and image looks great. I am currently using it directly on the white wall the image and color look amazing. I’m able to get it as a big or a small, depending on how close or far I put the projector to the wall. I was able to connect them to my speakers, which sounds even better I have my own mini movie theaters right from home, wonderful gift for anybody who enjoys going to the movie. Good quality!

Bought this projector on sale with the singular purpose of streaming mainly sports from either an iPad Air or iPhone 14 (both current uo to date software) preferably via Airplay or Bluetooth in a room without a tv, at work, or in the backyard. However, thats not possible. None of the mobile apps are compatible with the device and copyrights block it from being mirrored (Disney, Apple TV, HBO, ESPN). I cant even get safari to properly mirror to the projector. This thing will work if youre hardwired in with HDMI but thats it. Shouldn’t position it as a mobile compatible, portable, bluetooth capable device if only Audio comes through with no video. I would not recommend this product. Unfortunately going to eat the restock fee and return this because it doesnt serve a purpose.

I am not super tech savvy, but I didn't have any trouble getting it set up for the first use. I did quite a bit of research at many different stores, and this one fit all of my needs and was in my budget. It works perfectly for our rec room.

    Decent in darkness

Decent in the dark THE GOOD ~ Lightweight ~ Portable ~ Carrycase included ~ Decent sound ~ Multiple inputs ~ Decent picture ~ Comes with screen THE BAD ~ Soft around edges ~ Dim THE MEH ~ No way to mount the screen ~ Soft around edges OVERALL I will definitely use this a lot as the evenings get a little more pleasant. Alabama can still be hot at night. :) When I saw that it came with a screen, I thought, “Awesome, I won’t need to find one.” What I didn’t realize is the screen is just a folded up rectangle of reflective material with no bar or even grommets from which to hang it. That was a bit disappointing. There are so many creases in the material it isn’t worth trying to watch anything on it right now. I’m not sure if I can use an iron or something on it. So, I didn’t. I have a USB-C-to-HDMI connector for my phone, so I hooked my phone up. The images are fairly decent. However, to be honest, they are on the dim side and a bit flat. If you’re a photography buff and want to show people your last trip to the Amazon, this probably isn’t the projector for you. Setting up the projector was very easy. The knob beneath the front makes raising and lowering it simple. It comes with a remote but not the 2- AAA batteries required to use it. Luckily, I had some extras. The remote makes use simple, especially if you have this mounted from the ceiling. It does require you point it directly at the front of the projector. Apparently, I missed a few times. There are also buttons on top of the projector to use it. Either way, it’s very simple. Near the lens are two rings to adjust the focus and the tilt of the image. Like everything else, these are easy to use. The biggest problem I had was getting images to be crisp from edge to edge. Even though it looked very level, it did seem adjusting the tilt helped keep the top and bottom almost as sharp as the center. Still, the sides seemed softer than the middle. Where the fun came in was taking this outside, hooking up my phone and having drive-in theater night in the back yard. If you’re old enough to remember old drive-ins or have one near, you’ll understand how they always seem darker and more faded than something in the theater. That’s exactly how this was. We projected from about 12-14 feet away. The image size was great, the volume—though not stereo—was loud enough to hear, and the experience was very pleasant. The only drawback was constantly fiddling with the focus ring to try to get to outer edges as sharp as the middle. Perhaps I will figure out that perfect spot. All the same, we plan on using this much more outside for “ Drive-in Night.” Where I think this projector would best fit is in the business world. Either have it perfectly aligned and mounted so it won’t shift or have it as a portable device for PowerPoint presentations with clients. I think when the base color of the image is static and people are simply looking at slides of M&Ps, Excel spreadsheets, etc. the softness or dimness won’t be noticed. THE BIG QUESTION Would I recommend this to a friend? Possibly. I’m not in love with it. I think it’s fun for movie night and as such, I don’t necessarily mind the muted tones and colors. For someone who wants to relax outside and hang out with a movie going, I might. I would just set their expectations appropriately. For people in the business world, I would recommend it as a good solution for portable presentations. But because of the dim light, I would suggest they know they will be presenting in dark rooms.

Simple, Portable, Good on the Go

So while for the last couple years, we haven't had to do many presentations on the go.... that is changing. So this projector, is a good option for those that have to give presentations in spaces, that are not typically designed for it. It is compact, and very light... which is a good thing. Gone are the days are the bulky, and heavy projector, that you constantly were worried about breaking, and cursing that you brought it along. It has all the standard projection modes: Front, Behind (reversed), Straight Up (or Upside down if you choose to mount on the ceiling). Simple power cord, no bulky adapter, easy access HDMI inputs. I didn't spend the time to connect it to my network, as that isn't how we will be using it. This is going to be a presentation, and maybe outdoor movie projector. The picture was decent, but you do need to limit extra light, this isn't going to be a projector you use in a full lighted room. The focus was good, and the picture was crisp for what was expected. It is a great price point as well. The one knock, that I do have... is the ability in the bright spaces. yes, it isn't rated for that, but we don't always have the option to complete kill lights and make it even moderately dark. So if you need that often, this may not be the one for you

Zero Stars! The sound would not work blue tooth or direct connect. And because I don't live near a Best Buy, it took a few weeks to get to Cranberry for a return, which of course was denied because it was beyond the 2-week return policy. NEVER AGAIN!

This projector is so much fun! It comes in this great little backpack for storage and all the accessories fit so nicely. We started camping as a family this year and it was so fun to set up a little outdoor movie theater to sit by the fire and enjoy. It's so easy to take with you and I was able to connect my tablet and my phone without issue. Takes very little time to set this up and get it in focus. The remote works well and has all the functions you would need to get things up and running. The speaker works better than I expected and I was surprised at how clear the picture stays even at maximum size. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who wants to have movie nights or take a big screen where you wouldn't normally be able to take a TV. This is so lightweight it wasn't a hassle to travel with and the small footprint makes set up a breeze on the go. You really can't go wrong with this projector. The included screen was a great addition and the size was bigger than I expected as well. It's a nice thick material that should hold up well over time.

For a viewing experience that is easy to set up and operate, the Buffalo Pro U9 LCD projector has everything you need to take your viewing experience anywhere. While it is far from perfect, it is an affordable, hassle-free option for anyone looking to set up a quality entertainment experience on the go. Yaber packs the Pro U9 projector with everything you need - the device, cables and connectors, remote, and projector screen all fits neatly into the provided travel backpack. It even comes with a cleaning kit with detailed instructions for routine maintenance of your device. The projector is big but not bulky or heavy, with a removable cover protecting the lens. It has two USB, two HDMI, and one AV port to connect your media, and it also supports wireless casting through iOS and Miracast. Bluetooth is also supported and works nicely for audio. It does not have an adjustable leg on its base, however, so be prepared to compromise with your viewing angles a bit depending on how your setup looks like. The remote requires two AAA batteries (not included) and uses IR, so it became a bit cumbersome having to point directly at the projector whenever it was in use. This wasn't an issue when the projector was close by, but it may present problems if it were to be mounted on a ceiling or other high level. Where the Yaber Pro U9 shines, pun intended, is with its picture quality. The high brightness and multiple picture correction options allow for relaxed, effortless viewing of the screen in 1080p resolution. The projector looks great in dark rooms but also in dim light as well. There is some slight blurring effects but the picture is easily correctable using the device controls. The Yaber Pro U9 is a solid projector for the consumer looking for a hassle-free, quality product. It is easy to get up and running with everything you need to set up your entertainment center virtually anywhere, and it all packs up nicely in its portable case. Overall, the Pro U9 overcomes some minor flaws to provide a great viewing experience.

This unit is surprisingly versatile and a quality unit at this price point. Out of the box it features a nice carry case and a portable screen. The screen is not really always needed if you have a big enough blank wall to project on to. The screen is basically a big square sheet of fabric with no frame or any hanging implements at all, so if you are hanging it, you need clips or tacks, nails or tape I suppose. The projector is basically plug and play with several input options. It has HDMI inputs and options for screen casting from other devices, laptop or phone. I found one you get it set, there are no issues. Adjusting picture size and clarity is pretty simple with the keystone feature and the vertical leg. Sound: Onboard speakers are fine, but the bluetooth capability lets me pull out my portable speaker which has better sound quality than the onboard speakers and I can decide where to place the portable speaker to dial in sound depending on where we are watching. I got this for roof deck family movie nights and football this fall. The wall on our deck is a great screen and it the dimensions of the deck are just right for the distance needed. I can get this set up in less than 10 minutes now that I have done it a couple times, so it makes for a quick and easy portable movie option. Recommend.
