These are very great locks. The install was very simple and straight forward. A simple screwdriver is all you need, no need to be a handyman. The setup for code was very easy. Locks work great. They look amazing as well. I really like the option to upgrade the lock to a smart lock. This option is available after to be able to manage the lock via a Google or Amazon assistant. Yale is know for it's great craftsmanship in locks and these are very high quality. Highly recommend this lock for your home.

The one star is due to misleading in product packaging. It shows everywhere on the box that this support WiFi and works with Alexa, google etc.. If you see the images it also says the 2 modules which are required for the WiFi support art inside the box. But guess what it does not. Only empty shells which says to upgrade to WiFi visit ….. So I called support and the lady there agreed with me but was unable to help and pretty much hung up on me. I was not being rude but more like jokingly. So it costs another $130 for the WiFi module. As far as the lock and installation that is a 5 star. Everything went super smooth and it is a high quality product. But if you need WiFi or Bluetooth support which is needed for remote locking and unlocking then you need to spend additional money. If there are Yale people reading this review then please get the packaging changed as it is misleading and pretty much can be proved illegal also. No where even in the fine print I could not see that the modules are not included and are optional. No Where. I still have the full packaging to prove it to anyone.

I got this for my new door. The only downside is that to make it work with your phone/app, you need to get the wifi module. The extra cost is around $150.00

I love being able to use multiple codes for various people and this lock has lasted longer than my last lock that was more expensive than this one. Great buy!

This product performs wonderfully and love the simple functions and it's even satisfying with the feedback it gives when you lock/unlock your door! The bad things? Well, for starters, after the somewhat lengthy install (which was significantly prolonged only because of the following:), it turned out that no mater what I did, the device struggled closing the latch and gave an error message. It took me a while to figure this out, but I could tell that my purchase was a returned product due to various evidence, and it turned out that the previous owner damaged the door latch component, which resulted in too much friction. So I purchased another one, with the intent of returning the other one. Thankfully I did it this way, because this new one, too, was previously opened and used. In the end, I had to pilfer parts from both packages in order to make it work. Also, battery life seems very poor, as after about 8 days, it said low battery. Please note that I don't have enough data yet to make that point conclusive at this time.

Love the functionality, but there are glitches. It seems that batteries die rather quickly, or seem like they are dying but still functioning? Lock malfunctions sometimes when trying to lock (if not perfectly aligned with bolt plate). Needs additional module to be able to work over wifi

So convenient and easy to use and install. I read reviews prior to purchasing and I’ve read that they can get jammed and were bad on battery life but I haven’t experienced any of those issues. When I originally purchased this I thought it would be compatible with the app and I would be able to monitor access but this particular model is not able to sync with the app

Replaced a door lock, other brand. This was easy to install & easy to setup. Allows multiple codes, for kids, grandparents, temp codes for service to inside the house etc., if you're not there. Codes are easy to change. Several finishes, the brass look, the chrome look & the satin nickel finish.

I absolutely love the Yale dead bolt lock .. it is so convenient to not have to funnel through a bunch of keys to unlock the door.. and it adds style and safety to the home .. I would definitely recommend it

Installed this along with the keyless versions of the smart lock. All entry points are electronically locked & this particular lock is as well, but serves as a backup door for a key entry in case for some reason all else fails on all of my locks. Yale representative highly recommended having at least one entry with a key. He said that the only way in is to break a window or smash the smart locks then call a locksmith without one entry point with a key if for some reason something unpredictable happened. Love the quality & build

Very easy to use and I like the fact that as soon I get at home it opens buy itself. The only problem is the battery that I have to change at least once a month

Idk how I have not gotten on the band wagon on Touchscreen door locks. I really only discovered this when I rented an AirBnB as realized how easy it was to use. The fact that it can lock after a certain time out gives me peace of mind as I sometimes forget to lock the door. Plus, no more having to carry a key, but yes, there is the option to open using a key.

I like this lock. It's important to note that this version initially does not have wi-fi connectivity. There is another version of the lock that has that connectivity, but if you can still find this version you can then order the wireless module separately, and the combined price would be less than the newer model that has the module already included. For me it comes to about $50 less. It was very easy to install for me. My house was newer-ish, so everything fit. I didn't have to do any additional drilling or modifying to my current door. It went in in less than a half-hour.
