This is the 4th receiver I have owned, and all of the previous purchases have been from Sony. I liked the features and price of this Yamaha (it was on sale), so I decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. This receiver is feature-packed, and I found that the onscreen menus make it easy to configure. I downloaded the manual so that I could learn and understand all of the features on this receiver, and I'm impressed with everything it does. I can definitely recommend it.

I was very impressed with this Yamaha product. I haven't had a receiver in several years and was blown away with the features of this product.

I like this receiver and once you are able to get it set-up it seems to work great. However, the few issues I have had are setting HDMI mode to properly pass through 4K is only able to occur on the receiver itself and can't be accessed through the system on-screen menu's. Also, the auto set-up for the speakers can only be initiated though the receiver and not via on-screen menu's. Both of these had to be looked up in the documentation. Doesn't make sense to have all the on-screen menu's when certain features and settings still aren't on them.

I have brought and tried a lot of stereo receivers, but I think that Yamaha is a step above the rest.

Does the job. I had a problem with Netflix + sound but I think it was Netflix that was off, not this receiver. The sound quality is excellent.

Music streaming is easy to setup with firmware update available. Great sound with digital input.

Receiver is a decent receiver for your money. Replaced 12 year old receiver a decided on Yamaha over Sony. Like the look and Bluetooth option

Had a denon before this,but like this much better. Plenty of power and easy customization.

This works great for my basement man cave. Hooked it up to two sets of speakers and sounds great. Really like the Bluetooth connect

Works great, haven't purchased a 4k TV/Projector yet, so don't know the 4k quality.
