Good sound bar. Does everything you want from a sound bar

Works well right out of the box. Easy setup and use.

Great soundbar for a bedroom and definitely better sound quality than my Samsung soundbar.

I researched soundbars through consumer reports, Cnet, and through other vendors. I am so happy with this purchase. I also enjoy the 3D sound technology the systems using DTS. I also did not have to update the firmware, the system already had the updated firmware. I also downloaded the app on my phone and enjoy controlling the sound bar suing my phone. I can easily play music from my phone on the soundbar.

This is much better than the sony in this price range. I returned the sony for the Yamaha. Best decision ever

This is a great system for a bedroom. It’s in my sons room, wouldn’t put it in a living room.

This Yamaha soundbar/sub combo is worth a try if you’re looking for a $250-$350 setup. Pretty easy to install. I’m using the HDMI arc connection which offers great flexibility with my TV. The Yamaha app makes it easy to control using Bluetooth from my iphone. I enjoy the various sound modes. Oh and it plays DTS from my Blu-ray player, which is what I wanted to begin with.

This soundbar sounds great on my large tv. The woofer adds a bonus sound.

Outshines many more expensive and has a brilliant feature that helps amplify voice in today's movies that don't care about you understanding the anemic dialogue, but will break your ears with special effects noise. Wish it had a few additional features to fine tune the audio.

Highly praised by reviews and given the price can't complain. Still frustrated that new SONY 4k sets have such poor sound systems (very tinny trebles). All mandate a sound bar system to deliver decent music and dialogue.

This Yamaha sound bar is a great sound bar for only being a 2.1. It has crystal clear sound and easy to set up. Great option for someone looking to get a little more sound and bass while watching tv/movies/ or gaming.

This system sounded great when it wasn't broadcasting random subwoofer popping sounds. Tried two of these units and had the same issue. I saw another reviewer having to get it sent in and fixed by Yamaha but they had to pay shipping, and I don't know if it even fixed their problem. I wish this popping problem didn't happen because otherwise I really liked this set. Went with a Polk system instead and have had no issues!

I think the sound is great but could afford to get a little louder. My room isn’t that big (13 x 19) so it works great but if it was a larger room I think it would get lost a little. Overall very pleased.

The soundbar works well for the most part but the subwoofer speaker will randomly pop when the system is on and when it is off.

Needed something to improve TV sound and sound bar does that very nicely. I was having problems with voice recognition and with this sound bar it is much better.
