You can't go wrong knowing you have a Yamaha receiver handle you sound for your entertainment. No matter which, tv, CD, HD, your paid TV Providers services. I'm a long time listener using Yamaha Products.

Just like my title says...it has great power and the set up was very easy to do. I like having full power to all 5 channels.

This is a great a/v receiver it has enough power and features that is only found in much pricier receiver.I highly recommend

I went with the rx v381 because it's a very affordable price for what you get. Tons of features, powerful sound, future proof compliances. Definitely a keeper.

My other receiver broke and needed to replace it. This is an improvement from my old one. I wish it had wifi like the more expensive ones. The bluetooth is nice!

This receiver works like a charm. Plenty of power and connecting the Bluetooth was a breeze. I highly recommend this product.

so my trusty old yamaha rx-v2095 finally bit the bullet. i wasn't looking to spend thousands of dollars this time around so i started looking at entry level receivers. this little dude pretty much has all i need. i've had it for about a couple months now and i really enjoy it. music and movies sound rich and full. do yourself a favor and compare other receivers. choose the one that makes your ears tingle and enjoy the fact that these days entry level receivers come packed with way more bells and whistles than similarly priced receivers from a handful of years ago.

Receiver has all connections necessary for a simple living room setup. It's shallow (physically) enough to fit in most entertainment centers, which was one of the main reasons we replaced our Yamaha HTR-5940 with this one. Sound quality between those two models is nearly indistinguishable in a 5.1 setup, with the exception of being able to have the surround speakers in the front with the RX-V381, which is a pretty neat effect that either wasn't available or I wasn't able to find on the HTR-5940.

Wonderful sound. Love how the TV/Receiver powers as well as volumes are controlled by one remote via HDMI connection.

I bought this as a replacement for an old receiver at my business. It sounds wonderful and was easy to set up.

Very nice unit for the $. Has many features and good power. No need for anything more if you have a smaller venue.

I didn't realize it was strictly a theater unit, so set up was a little different, with center speakers. But that was my fault for not reading about it. (Used to the old days of just a receiver). Good product though, no issues yet.

This product is much better than the Onkyo we previously used. Is easier to use and the quality seems very good.

super easy to install over old Yamaha receicer. New features for 4k and hdmi ports a great upgrade. Have used yamaha speakers and receiver for 30 plus years and have had excellant results.

I purchased this receiver to replace my 15 year old Pioneer. It was very easy to set up, and using HDMI cables helped cut down on clutter.

The system is mostly easy to operate and offers a number of features and options to get the best sound.

This is my 3rd tuner in 5 years. Sound is great, Bluetooth was super easy to sync and good distance

this is my second yamaha receiver. the first one still works great but has no hdmi inputs and i wanted to run my laptop and phone through my surround sound system. the new one sounds better and has a simplified remote. i paid $223 for the open box version, what a great deal. you won't be sorry if you go with yamaha they have a great reputation for quality.

This receiver is really perfect for its price. It's the cheapest one on the market that offers 4k!
