Excellent sound, Picture, easy switching between input modules. Was an easy upgrade and drop in to my old system.

I had had a Nikko receiver since the 80's (Yup!!!) that was on its last leg--I so loved it! I did not want to give up listening to all my CDs and depend on converting and adding all the mp3's to my tablet. So I looked at many options. And I feel the sound from CDs is just better. So I started looking at receivers--Onyko, Denon, you name it. I compared the other brands in-store and online and felt Yamaha was tops. I also debated whether I needed Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. This one was right on target and the price was right. I like this receiver! Set-up was a little confusing at first as I am not a super techie; in retrospect, it's very straightforward. Adjusting the equalizer took some time compared to the simplicity of my old Nikko, still find myself adjusting it. I have my 5 disc CD player connected to it, as well as my TV (I do not have cable, I have an antenna) and my DVD player. I use the Bluetooth for my tablet and had no trouble connecting to my laptop as well. I think my Nikko probably had more power, but the Yamaha is fantastic! Sound and video are great...The only minor bummer is now wanting a universal remote...I also purchased two great Bowers and Wilkins speakers to replace my oh so old Polks. (Wish I still had my turntable and dual cassette player, sigh..) I am happy!!!!!

I love great sound. Yamaha is one of my “go-tos” when I get my new TV, Klipsch surround sound and sub. This Yamaha makes the window rattle in the living room, did I mention it has 20 foot ceilings? Power to spare, WiFi capable, just all around GREAT.

This is the first time I bought an Yamaha receiver and it worked as per expectation. The set up was easy and and it was able to pass UHD content from BDP and Roku to TV. It is connected to my Bose accoustimas 10 module and outbound sound is good in nature. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

I got this receiver on clearence for an amazing price. Set up was simple and easy. Sound quality is great . I am only using the front and center channels and sub. I have two Polk Audio tower speakers and a Polk Audio Center. Plus a Polk 10 sub. I am very happy with my purchase.

Was looking for a receiver with HDMI so that I could finally your my BluRay player with my 5.1 system. This was one of the least expensive units. The reviews were good, the price was great. It was easy to set up. Best of all, it sounds fantastic. Really happy with the purchase.

Not the top of the line reciever. But it has a lot of features the high end models have. Plenty of I puts for almost all your needs.( except record player with out a pre amp). This was a great reciever for anyone wanting to upgrade but not breaking the bank. Set up is easy and the sound is great

it is a little difficult to set up. But once set up it produces great sound, it communicates very well with my tv and xbox one to turn on and off by voice. And with out the xbox it turns on and off by tv only and uses either the provided remote or the tv remote to control the receiver, It is a little noisy turning on and off with a clunk. but quiet otherwise.

This receiver has great sound and is easy to setup. It only has one 4K HDMI port so if you have multiple 4K devices you may want to go a few models up. On Screen menu is easy to navigate and I love the Bluetooth and wireless connection abilities.

Bought this item since I needed an receiver with HDMI inputs for a projector. The sound is pretty good and provides enough power for good sound. I use it for my Nvida Shield, PS3, and Asus Tablet, and tey work good. It is simple to set up and easy to use.
