Good subwoofer for the money, shakes the whole room at times.

Makes my listening complete with the pure base sound!

The price was right, the sound quality is good, and we will use them daily.

It does the job, looks nice, and works easy set up.

Replaced the same speaker that lasted about 7 years of LOUD music playing.

Upgraded from Yamaha SW-P201. The P210 had more speaker connectors and was smaller. But the SW012 woofer has smoother, more effortless sounding Bass. The SW012 was wider by 4 inches. Don't judge the width of the SW012 by its picture. Very satisfied with the upgrade.

Deep deep bass for the price. I was surprised that it sounded as good as it did. I'm glad I stumbled across it.

Was looking for a small subwoofer to fit in a wall cavity in my living room. This sub fit the bill perfectly. Plenty of sound for the size.

Better than i thought................................

Bought this to include in one of my tube based systems, which uses a Dyna PAS-2 with two Stromberg-Carlson 400 Series 25 watt power amps, which have 20 pound output transformers. Needed a sub-woofer to realize lower octaves, and take much of the low bass from the KLH No. 6 speakers. Using a separate LF crossover, and the results are very pleasing. Listen to most all music, and the Yamaha sounds good with everything. Good for smaller systems that aren't designed to blow the roof off the house. Stromberg6

I needed an affordable powered sub. I also needed a specific size to fit the space I had for it. This sub met all my needs and the sound is great (for the price) I am very satisfied with the product.

I read reviews online before purchasing this powered sub-woofer. All said it was great "bang for the buck". They were right. For a sub-woofer that costs $100 this was more than enough low end for the surround speaker setup in our small entertainment area (approx 20' x 20' room). It has a volume knob on the back that I had to turn back to less than half-way because it was putting out too much bass at first. We are driving it through a Sony surround receiver. Very satisfied and highly recommend for bass response on a budget.

New technology of HD TVs limited my surround sound setup and I had to upgrade to digitial sound. I purchased a Yamaha soundbar, but the bass was not sufficient. This subwoofer has been a great addition. When you play a movie that is mastered appropriately, this subwoofer really fulls the room. I barely have to turn it up to get the full cinema experience. My wife agrees and that's the main point.

This subwoofer does exactly what I needed it to do. It was easy to install and the frequency response is excellent.

I needed a front firing small subwoofer for my home office. This product fit the bill. Unfortunately my 1990's era stereo does not have a subwoofer out port so I could not use it. Had to return it but it was accepted without a problem.

The subwoofer surprised me. I expected more distortion, The powered sub hits cleaner than i thought. It gives my friends Bose sub a run. for $100 I wouldn't think twice. If you could hear it before you buy it, you'd pay $250!! Very nice quality.

This is an amazing subwoofer for the price and sounds wonderful. It does take up a decent amount of floor space, but not too much. Well worth the $90.
