Recommend the assistance of the Geek Squad to install

I loved the sound of this but there's a buzzing that's intolerable. Someone said to check the speaker connection. I did. In fact, it buzzes even if there are no speakers connected to it! What a disappointment. I think i got a lemon and it's precisely why I bought a Yamaha was to avoid this. A reminder to get extended geek squad warranty because Yamaha makes it very difficult to get it take care of. Very disappointed. Went back to my old NAD. it doesn't sounds as good but it doesn't buzz.

Even at low volumes this unit sounded great and when cranked up gives your speakers a workout. Although, it was very confusing to set up and the there was no remote or instruction manual with my open box buy.

We've only had this receiver for less than a month but so far so good.

I had been looking to install wall speakers but I couldn’t decide on a receiver. After speaking with a Best Buy associate in the magnolia center I made my purchase and this receiver has surpassed my expectations! It controls my 6 speaker set up for my tv and with dual zones I was able to add in ceiling speakers to my kitchen so that I could play music! Thanks Best Buy!

Here is another addition to my evolving home theater. This av receiver has amazing audio and video codecs. I love the Dolby Vision hdr that works easily and flawlessly. The speaker set up is intuitive and sounds absolutely amazing especially with the Dolby Atmos feature! The tv series Altered Carbon through this receiver is incredible. Highly recommend!

This Yamaha surround receiver sounds absolutely fantastic!

I absolutely love this receiver! I was looking for a receiver with 4k passthrough that supported Dolby Atmos and DTS: X. This receiver does that and more. I caught this one as an open box and could not be happier. While soundbars have their place, nothing beats a good quality receiver!

Heavy unit and could benefit from RCA plugs instead of wrapping wires around a post.

I liked all the configuration options - though - it can be complex to get it configured how you want it. In the end I was able to access it from my phone - from a web page - and from the remote.

Called Yamaha BS on a Friday and the guy I got was totally fed up with his job, will try again soon need to get Zone 2 setup correctly

We needed something we could hook up a lot of different speakers to and this one worked.
