Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the sound quality, ease of use, and Bluetooth capabilities of the AVENTAGE 7.2-Ch. Bluetooth Capable HDR Compatible A/V Home Theater Receiver. Many also appreciate its power and the range of features it offers, finding it to be good value for the price. While some found the setup process somewhat challenging, the positive feedback on other aspects outweighs this concern.

Always had Yamaha recievers and decided to finally upgrade to a 7.2. This sure has met more than what I expected. Controls 2 different comes to add more speakers such as outdoor. Menu could be renamed to each of your inputs connected to TV and easy just to scroll to them and let the rest do itself.

Didn't think we would notice such a difference with this receiver but the sound is much more crisp and powerful using the same speakers we were using before. The two zones "A" and "B" means we can switch between music for speakers in the foyer and on the deck and the surround system in the den.

This receiver has been a rock star straight out of the box. I had a pioneer and I blew out some fuse that took out the whole system. So I went for one of the best in the business and it has paid off.

I am happy with my Yamaha. After continuous obsession with the Dennon, I went to the magnolia theater to purchase it. However, after listening to the competitor Yamaha, I fell in love. I gave it 4 stars only because now that I’m home It has a little muffling in the sound....just a little. I wish it was a tab bit more crisp. However, I am still happy.

Replaced my Sony 770 receiver because I wanted Dolby Atmos since my TCL 75 inch. Series8 has it. Set up was easier than I thought and so far everything working well. I use the arc connection and only need the TV remote to turn both on and off.

Very happy with the RX-A780. I was looking for something I could use my Klipsch front speakers and sub, and add wireless surrounds with (2) MusicCast 20's. Works and sounds excellent. Nice to have the phono input too.

I got this to upgrade my surround sound setup and really had to play with the sound settings to keep it from sounding flat. It left me disappointed and I did end up returning it. That said, setup was easy and menus were easy to use.

Upgraded from another Yamaha receiver 5.1. Wanted a 7.1 receiver to play separate channels in the house. Did some research & got advice from sales associate. Went with this one & so far , serving its purpose.

I’m thrilled that I spent just a little extra to get upgraded features that includes new technology like sinking with Bluetooth, iPhone, additional rooms and the latest sound tech and high end parts. No regrets here!

Decent receiver for it's intended zone 2 capabilities. I'd consider myself an audiophile expert, however, the logic behind accessing the features of this unit are puzzling. Too complex even when compared to my more advanced reciever/amps.

We bought this for our movie room and it’s exceptional other than it not being user friendly. This is our first time owning a receiver for our TV so maybe the difficulty is due to us being first time users. Overall, it is a great machine!

It replaced a Denon av receiver. Sound quality is 10 times better and it has quality built in although it will not support a phonograph. But all an all it is a great unit

The sound from my four wall speakers sounds great. It was not hard to set up, Alexa is working for the receiver, but not for the TV as yet - waiting for help with this.

Had an Onkyo receiver that HDMI went bad. After much research, decided on the Yamaha..and thus far I am quite satisfied except for step. Seemed the auto setup was off on distance and set speakers large and felt that was wrong also!
