This is my second Yamaha theater receiver, upgrading to allow 4k pass through and HDMI connections. Had the first one for 15 years and still using it in another room. Easy to use, great sound, and fair price.

This reciever is a beast it has a ton of features and is easy to operate with the yamaha av controller app.

This YAMAHA receiver is awesome, simple to set up and all cool features, the sound is simply awesome when paired with good speakers

This is a great inexpensive receiver. wifi and bluetooth are great. I use the music cast with other Yamaha speakers also!

This is my 3rd Yamaha receiver. The interface and menu are very similar to prior models. With this unit, I've stepped up to Atmos. Make sure to disable the 2nd zone or Atmos won't work. Took me days to figure out why it wouldn't output Atmos. Love using the android app with it. All in all, another solid purchase.

Had this receiver recommended by the AV guy that was doing my install. So far I love it. Automatically connected to my tv using the HDMI cable with all the features being available for view on the screen. Clear sound going to my speakers. I also enjoy the multicast and the zones that allow me to listen to different music in different zones throughout the house. The only negative was finding the correct app to download to control and connect through my phone.

I bought this magnolia certified receiver for my home theater system. it has great features and sound quality is good,has adequate power for my Klipsch system

I bought this receiver to replace an Aventage rx-a770 that got damaged by lightning. I have a 5.1 system connected to it and it sounds great. I'm sure it's even better with 7.2. YPAO feature is great for room optimization. I like that it has preset listening modes to match what you are watching/playing. More audio-inclined people can really take advantage of the available options, but the presets work great for me. I haven't taken advantage of the Alexa feature yet, but that will be very useful when I do.

I wanted a good receiver to use with my 3 year old speaker system that was still in the box. This Yamaha RX-A780 unit was recommended and I am learning that it can do lots of stuff. My problem is primarily that I am unaware of how to use smart technology. My last (and only) receiver in the house was over 25 years ago. I am enjoying the sounds that my system can produce. I was disappointed when the manual was not provided (other than downloaded)--the Quick Start Guide is too limited for me. I look forward to learning to use this equipment. Geek squad installer has been outstanding!!!

Purchased this to replace my previous Yamaha receiver. Sound quality is GREAT. Given that I have a full surround system in main listening/viewing room along with a second zone for listening, and that I have six components connected, setup was relatively easy. Love that i can connect to internet and play stations such as Spotify through the system and use it with my wireless speakers outdoors. Am very pleased with this purchase.

It makes the home theater. Plenty of power for 5.1 surround sound

This product is easy to set up, and packs lots of power! The remote is really nice too!

It was between X2600 Denon or this receiver and I bought this because it was really comparable and about $150 cheaper on sale. I like the look and has plenty of ports but I don't care for the remote the buttons don't press that natural and sometimes you have to make sure you really get you finger in the right spot. I also bought this because it's part Aventage line and supposed to have better components and reliability is important to me, but I have an issue with sound skipping when streaming movies and I am dealing with Yamaha. Support was good at first but now waiting to hear back and it been about a week and I've only had it about a month so that disappointing so far. The sound is really good though even with my old jbls.
