The sound quality is amazing. It has many effects and extras (like AirPlay) that make this a great receiver for the price.

The only reason that I did not give 5 stars is that the setup is not as intuitive as I would have liked. That said, this appears to be an excellent product so far, and I need to look moe fully at all of its capabilities.

This stereo is excellent, and the installers were great.

Mid Entry level powerhouse receiver. Brings plenty of power to my Klipsch speakers. Very impressed with power and pricing.

The sound is excellent and the auto speaker balancing feature works well. My problem is with the unit switching between inputs very slowly. At one point I had picture but no sound. Best Buy sent it to their repair center which sent it back a month later and said they found no problem. However, they did update the firmware and now the unit has both sound and picture so maybe the update was what it needed. If you buy this be sure to find out how to do the update. The instructions do not tell how to do this. I guess it is a situation where the designers have tried to cram in too many features and this resulted in some instability and overly complex set up.

I am enjoying my surround sound. The tech person was very polite, he took time to answer my questions and showed great professional skill.

Excellent performance with cost effective value. Using with my connected home automation system and Alexa. Connected with Bose Acoustimass 10.

I like that it has 2 HDMI outputs. The setup was awkward, but if you read the 200 page manual you can figure it out. The sound configuration-adustment was wonderful.

I used to have a Yamaha receiver, than I went to a Onkyo receiver and now i'm back to a Yamaha receiver. I misses the sound of a great receiver.

This product has more than operated to my expectations. The resulting sound and distribution has been most satisfying.

I switched from onkyo to Yamaha and I think I made a great choice. This is WiFi, Bluetooth and does great job.

While this Yamaha is a solid performer with all the bells and whistles, don't even consider trying to set it up without downloading the app first. And even with that be prepared to spend a good bit of time on that, you'll probably do a lot of tweaking. I am not a novice audiophile, this one will require patience but is worth it when you nail down the settings for your particular tastes.

This is a mid-priced receiver with so many options. It gives a great sound and gives a wide range of equalizer selections.

Normally, I feel that receivers have so much going in and although this one does too, I have found it to be easy to use. Recommend.

I purchased this receiver because Yamaha has some of the cleanest power out there with a low distortion rating
