Glad I bought it and had it professionally installed. Too complicated for this old man. I'm sure that I am only using a minimum of the capabilities of this system. It's hooked up to my 65" Samsung 3D TV along with my Samsung 3D DVR. Wish I could figure out how to use less than 4 remotes to get the system to work. When watching a 3D feature it's like being part of the movie. Sound is just outstanding. Would buy it again and rent a live-in expert to work it!

Following connecting to Google Fiber and 1G internet speed, I was seeking to update my home theater and take advantage of high streaming speeds and bandwidth. I consulted with the Geek Squad and upgraded to the Yamaha - Avenge 735W about a month ago. My Amazon Fire stick, Apple TV and Blue Ray Player feed directly into the unit. My speakers are wired, but it does support wifi Yamaha MusicCast speakers for other rooms, which are a bit pricy but on my shopping list for a later time. I am very pleased.

After switching from a traditional receiver to an all-in-one home theater, I was hesitant to go back to a traditional receiver, but this one is anything but traditional. Having 4 UHD HDCP 2.2 pass-throughs has been amazing and it was so easy to set up, despite only having 5 speakers and my subwoofer being incompatible. The built-in Pandora is also a great feature. Highly recommended!

This receiver is absolutely amazing. It took me all of 30 minutes to navigate and program radio presets and understand the equalizer settings. I was between this and a couple others (Elite and Denon) and haven't thought about them again since I brought this home and hooked it up! This systems wattage is rated in RMS (continuous) instead of peak, like many other lower quality systems, so 700 watts is more like 1,000+ with this system. Plus, it looks great in our space.

I have a Bose Acoustimass-10 home theater speaker system. This receiver is the perfect addition to my system. The receiver controls my TV, DVD player, cassette player/recorder, and turntable. There is only one wire from the receiver to the TV, which makes my wife happy. Even the other wires are at a minimum. The remote is easy to use, the set up was great, and the look of the receiver is top-notch. Couldn't be happier with it!

Yamaha's have always been fully featured and dependable. This new model includes 3 HDMI inputs which are HDCP2.2 capable. These will be required for connecting future devices that output 4K to the newer 4K TV's. A must if you're a 4K TV buff and want to be able to connect future 4K devices to it then this Yamaha would be a good choice.

This is an excellent high end receiver for anyone looking for a great home theatre or stereo immersion experience. It has everything you'd expect from a high quality Yamaha receiver, including at least 4 HDMI ports to connect your TV, PS4, cable and other devices. It can power up exceptional 3D, Blu-ray and video game viewing. Even better if you can catch it on sale!

This is a great receiver, easy to setup and produces great sound.

I purchased this receiver as a package deal with Definitive Tec. surround speakers. It has plenty of power, with some really nice sound clarity. You would have to spend at least $1600 to get better sound. The only advantage in spending more money is features such as more zones or THX certified.

Next to a good tv this is probably the best home entertainment purchase I have ever made. We use it everyday and it has become an essential part of our tv watching experience. We love the app control, makes it very easy to use.

The receiver was very easy to set up. I enjoy controling with my phone. The app is easy to set up and you are ready to go. I use this with the definitive technology speakers and it produces great surround sound.

I have been a Yamaha fan for years, have owned 3 previously, and this reciever did not disapoint. Came with all of the feaures that I was looking for my home entertainment needs.

The receiver itself is very nice my only dislike is the remote, it is not as simple to use as others I have had in the past. Receiver has good power and options, would have liked gold posts for the speakers.

It took some time to get the hang of it at first, but the sound quality using this receiver is perfect. Everything about it is great. It is hooked up to my new 4k Sony 65". Picture and sound are both perfect.

My speakers have been in place for a couple of years, but when I replaced a much more expensive Denon the change was very noticeable. It's a great unit.

I must say im impressed with this thing. I had heard alot of negative things about Yamaha for some reason, but im glad i didnt listen to those opinions. This definitely does the job and then some.

Based on the equipment we purchased and the sound quality we wanted, this was the recommended receiver, and so far we are very happy with it.

Very pleased with purchase and the price at Best Buy. Excellent sound. Like Yamaha's set up to allow second set of Speakers on back console.
