Good receiver which has many features and was easy to set up.

I wanted a top notch product that allow me to fully appreciate my new 65 inch Samsung wall mounted TV. This unit does that and more.

The pass-thru arrangement makes for simplified installation, and allows most basic operations from one remote - no more remote programming hassles.The unit performs flawlessly, sounds great, and looks beautiful. My last 2 receivers were Denon, and each died after 4 years. Here's to a long and pleasurable Yahama experience.

I bought this from BestBuy. It worked great for the first 30 days. And sure enough on the 31st day the subwoofer stopped working. I can't go to best buy as I don't have any warranty with them. But I'll have to ship this heavy item to DefTech. I'm seeing same issue posted by another person when he bought it with Yamaha amp from BestBuy. Not sure what to do.

The bass went out and Bet Buy replaced it with no questions asked. Great customer service.

Rich sound, easy setup. Bluetooth streaming sucks though not everyone has an iphone, but that is how the Bluetooth is on all the Yamaha receivers. Wish the sales clerk knew that when I asked that question.

Very happy with my new Yamaha receiver! Tuner reception is great, and I'm especially pleased with the excellent sound when playing music from music streaming services through my smartphone via the receiver's Bluetooth connection.

I've always liked Yamaha amps and I got this one on a great deal that I couldn't pass up. Nice set of features with good power. Doesn't have the latest audio codecs, Dolby Atmos or DTS X. If you don't need or want the latest codecs then this is the amp for you.

I first purchased a Denon and although it was a solid receiver i just didn't like the sound. I took it back and purchased this, excellent choice. The sound and quality is much better, couldn't be more happy with my decision.

This unit is pretty good for the money. I found it pretty easy to set up and really didn't have any problems. The Bluetooth works great with my iPad and cell phones and the wifi was easy. My issues are with the sound quality . I had a pioneer sc series that sounded so much better but cost a lot more. I've tried to adjust the settings but just can't get it any better. It sounds weak in the mids and boomy base .Again I'm comparing this to a 1600 dollar pioneer so it's not the Yamaha's fault it's mine. I'm going to keep it for the savings but next time will be different.

I replaced an old Harmon Kardon receiver which served me extremely well. I needed something with 2 zones, HDMI switching and was ready for 4K. This receiver has all those features and more. It is definitely a can't miss.
