So far I am struggling to get a full 5.1 surround out of this. Even with the techs help it seems the settings are hard to flip through to find the right ones. Nice system, has an HDMI out port to get on screen in depth menus on the tv to make changes and set up. Decent but still trying to get it set up correctly.

Other reviews saying it blew them away… look it’s fine, miles better than TV speakers and the sub packs a punch. But other than that it’s mid, audio is not clear, surround speakers lack any bass whatsoever so the sun works overtime to fill that. Like I said, just alright, could be better than some cheap sound bars but some of today’s modern sound bars would definitely blow this out of the water. Included AV Receiver is pretty good for the money, lacking airplay but otherwise alright.

Excellent sound system. It wasn't too hard to put together but definitely would be quicker and easier with a helping hand. The functions of the sound system are very neat.

The system is really great very good sound from all speakers. Subwoofer is crazy loud and it sounds really good in my apartment. Love using it while I use my ps5 and my Xbox series X.

This is not so much about the item itself but the service from Best Buy. I bought this item as: Good Geek Squad Verified Works like new. Restored to factory settings. May have minor scratches or dents. May be missing non-essential parts, accessories or original packaging..... I drove an hour and waited for them to bring the item out. It was brought out in pieces with no box which I am fine with. He brings it all to the counter and I am fine with condition. But I am told this does not include the remote or cables and cable plugs. This type of electronic allows for detail adjustments to the speakers from the remote. I was told they would give me a universal remote and I said thats not gonna work at all. Then the speaker cable was on a spool and I was done. It obviously should have been sold as: Fair Geek Squad Verified Works like new. Restored to factory settings. May have larger dents or scratches. May be missing parts and accessories. They said they could give me a discount further since they acknowledged that there are missing parts or that I could contact the manufacturer to get the parts for a small fee. I have had to deal with manufacturers getting parts and there is nothing about them shipping fast. I am a Best Buy CC holder for over a decade and buy from best Buy all the time. I have never been so discouraged with a purchase anywhere. I asked the manager who said he brought it out from the back and put it under the counter why the order was not canceled since he acknowledged that he already knew there would be a problem with the status of the items listed as good when parts are missing. I did happen to repurchase this item as: Excellent Geek Squad Verified Works and looks like new. Restored to factory settings. Includes all original parts, packaging and accessories (or suitable replacement). for just 30 dollars more and am having it shipped. I am thankful the excellent open box came up as an option to buy soon after this mess-up. I am looking forward to receiving it and enjoying the sound I am looking for.

The system does everything I wanted it to do an more. I would recommend getting a spool of speaker wire as the 85' that comes with it is not enough if you are doing full surround setup. Other than that, it is a great system for the price.

Incredible sound. We rarely go to the theater anymore because this is so amazing our house is basically a theater. The subwoofer makes you feel the action.

Let's just get real, Sound is abstract... What one hears that is amazing is anothers horror. This Yamaha All in 1 5.1 surround sound system is all you need to get started. It has everything you'd ever need for home theater.
I've had my system for over 2.5 years, and I'm happy with my purchase. So happy that I'm actually buying another All in 1 system for my other room.
Thank You Yamaha & Best Buy.
