I don't listen to much rap, but Kanye is one exception. I'm not sure why, especially since I loathe him as a person, but his stuff clicks with me. This is a bit varied. There are a few clunkers (like the last track) and some true standouts (like the first track). Only get this if you're looking for something different.

What else can be said about Kanye that (he) already hasn't? Love or hate him, this man has his pulse to what he finds interesting in life. If you study and listen to a range of music, you will find it somewhere in discography. This album brings a rough quality to his sound, its chicago of the 90's polished and brought to 2013. Lets be frank there is little left to innovate in music these days, but it is about history and spit and polish and this man can do all that and sense a pulse before you can spit at him, because before you can, love him or hate him, he's figured out something you only wish you could. He is great at what he does and this album again shows that he has his hands in just about everything and does it well. If you got to hate you're just gonna hate, but if you get it, you get it.

Upon first listen Yeezus doesn't come off as a great body of work. But when u actually sit down and really listen to it, it definitely is. Kanye has something to say and everyone should be able to get something out of it. Production on the album is great as most of the beats bring out some type of emotion. You feel his pain and frustrations through it all.

Great album should have EXCELLENT BODY OF WORK AND great beats

I love Kanye. His rhymes, his style, his beats, his grandiosity. This album tests even the biggest Kanye fan. It took a couple of listens, but it has grown on me. I do still have that feeling of wanting the old Kanye back. Maybe next year.

Great CD for a Kanye fan. But short track list compared to his other discs. Slight differences compared to his general content. But it grows on you if you are a fan if his music.

I give Ye props for bringing a different sound. Too bad most people won't appreciate the art.

even if you are a hardcore kanye west fan this will have to grow on you like 808's and heartbreaks. still a good cd.

I read alot of mixed reviews about this album...but if you've a true Kanye fan then this is a must! The production is definately top-notch and though the album pushes the barriers of traditional rap / hip hop.... no one does it better than Yeezy! Overall I would say that the album is the complete package... theres a little bit of everything on here for everyone... YEEZY does not dissapoint (Again).... He only gets better!

There is no 'Through the Wire' or 'Jesus Walks' or 'Stronger' or 'Gold Digger' track on this album. There probably isn't even anything that will get significant radio play. What there is is an artist taking a huge leap forward. This may in fact be the album that he is remembered for and will likely spurn an entire new generation of copy cats that will take the IDGAF attitude that Yeezus so blatantly displays.

If you liked 808's and heartbreaks you will like this album. If you are looking for a rap album maybe you should skip this one.

His new cd is different took a couple listen through to get used to it lol but it's ok once you get used to it.

It's not traditional hip-hop like Magna Carta..., but it's still very boundary-pushing and incredible.

Looking forward to a new kanye cd is something i tend to enjoy. at first listen i thought it was okay but as i let it grow on me i realized that kanye had created something new that was unlike the rest of his music and despite the overall dancehall type stuff on it i enjoyed the new sound he brought

Kanye did his things with this one. The beat the lyrics everything is good

Depends on your taste. If you are a Kanye fan it is must buy!
