At first I thought this was expensive for a cord but after hooking it up (which was super easy) and seeing it work as described, I think it is well worth it. Less expensive than a docking station and more compact/portable.

It did the job and my nephew loved it. He had left the docking station back home and I saw this at best buy! It was cheaper then buying a completely new docking station.

There is not a whole lot to say, because this is a fantastic product that does what it says it will. If we are eventually ever able to venture back out into the world, and you want to take your Switch with you but do not want to lug around the standard dock, grab this. It also works for computers and certain android phones (just not at 4k/60_.

Works like a dream. Mainly used for another room other than the main gaming room or take to a friends and connect to their TV without the dock.

I used to hate disconnecting my dock and all the cables when I would take my switch to friends houses or when traveling. It was often enough to where I wanted to try this out. Now I just keep a go bag for my switch with this and I’m so glad I bought it!

It's really easy to use. Much better than carrying around the dock and messing around with all those cables. It works on tvs, monitors, or anything with an hdmi port.

Playing your switch on the TV is great, but carrying around the dock to do so is not so great, so having this cable will enable you to leave your dock at home and travel light. You still need to carry the official ac adapter for power. The only thing I would say might be handy would be to have a usb port for charging controllers, or running a wired controller.

Works great. A little pricier than other adaptors but it works unlike others. Easy and cheaper than a second dock. Fits easily on any case to carry around

Bought it to hook up my son’s Nintendo switch to the tv since the docking station stopped working. Worked great and charges the switch at the same time too.

Perfect for traveling. You don’t need to carry the bulky docking station. I also bring it with me when I visit friends so, we can all play on a tv.

Wanted to be able to use my switch while on the go and this cable does that very well, just make Sure your power supply is powerful enough. Additionally works well with the iPad Pro (again need a good power supply).

Works great with the Nintendo Switch. You will need to buy a power supply though.

The product works, but there was a noticeable decrease in the screen resolution, when compared side by side with the standard dock. To be fair, I don't believe this would a big issue on hotel tvs Also, when looking at the size, it doesn't save that much space, when compared to traveling with the dock and an HDMI cable. I applaud the effort, and if you're willing to accept the drawbacks, it could be a great dock alternative. As for me, I'm packing up my dock.

Great for traveling and using the Switch game on the road.

Good gadget to have if you travel or if your kid broke the docking station. I added an hdmi switch to alternate between the Xbox and NS and kids are happy at the press of a button.
