I got this with the intention of traveling very light with our Nintendo Switch. I didn't want to lug the dock and the simple USB-C HDMI dongle I had lying around didn't work. The long HDMI cable on this product gives you a lot of options. I had good results with it on the TVs we used in the rental home on our trip. I had one issue when the video worked but joy con or pro controller buttons didn't respond, but I chalked up to the TV itself, which was an older model When I switched HDMI ports on the TV it behaved.

It works so far. A good replacement for the moment.

Great product for the price. Does not allow you to connect USB controllers so that was a big let down. If I would have read the box a little better or actually got help from one of the associates I might have caught that.

Another and the best option for travel. Strong cable and good quality. For switch user and usb c users. If you want to proyect everything with your cellphone this is the best option.

Our Switch moves between several households and it seems the Nintendo dock is always left somewhere else. There are several of these “portable” docks available, but this was a well known brand that has good reviews. Normally, I would knock off a star because of cost, but I really think you get what you pay for. HOWEVER, I do knock a star off because the instructions say it only works with the OEM A/C adapter. So, if we leave the OEM dock at another household, I’ll probably leave the adapter, too!

I was getting frustrated moving my docking station between TVs. This was an easy, expensive solution. It works as well as the docking station and travels easily. Great purchase!
