I usually don't buy the horror genre, but this was on sale so I picked it up. Actually I ended up liking it. The filmakers created some boundaries and stay within themso there weren't a lot of plot gaps. Nice little plot twist, good acting, overall a good flick for the genre that will withstand subsequent viewings.

This movie had a trailer that is a bit misleading, but in a good way. What looks like a standard 'bad guys holding people hostage story' ends up having a a nice variation on that story but I won't give it away here. Also has some genuine humor sprinkled throughout as well.

Reallyreally enjoy horror movies and especially when it takes you along for the 'usual' ride and then it throws a curve into the plot. It's like those horror houses where you know the scare is coming, but this storyline and use of characters keeps you off-balance to the end. Enjoy!

Good audio and video quality. I'm not much of a horror buff, but this film surprised me with its quality and tension. I didn't know what to expect going into it, but was glad I chose to watch it once it was over. Also, the masks are pretty darn creepy.

While "You're Next" doesn't revolutionize the house-invasion sub-genre, it certainly does knock it off its kilter. What begins as your standard and predictable house-invasion, stay-put-for-your-lives horror fest quickly pulls a 180, and takes you on an almost-unforgettable ride.

I didn't quite know what to expect going into the movie, but after I was done watching it I was pleasantly surprised! The pacing is good and the quick jumps are on point! It won't be a classic horror movie by any means, but it is a fun distraction.

I wasn't going to buy this movie because it seemed like an English rip-off of "The Strangers," but I was impressed with some of its interesting takes on the basic "home invaded by psychos" theme. Not extremely original, but it keeps your attention.

Movies such as his one seem to be fading away, but at the same time to direct to dvd and digital market is flooded with run of the mill horror films that fall into a been there done that standard. This film seemingly in the vain of V/H/S has the tools to keep horror in the mainstream consciousness with its not taking itself too seriously approach, probably for the better. Overall there are flaws, one in my opinion that the film can at times push the comedy to hard, but it should be noted that there has always been a keep it light, let the audience breath and laugh mentality amongst some thriller/horror fans and filmmakers. For a theatrical release like this one, not a bad showing.

A fresh approach to horror movies. Not to give anything away-a family gets together for their parent's anniversary and basically all hell breaks out. Has some pretty intense killings and will keep you guessing until close to the end.

"You're Next" is a really fun, violent and often darkly humorous horror flick. It takes a while to get things going in the beginning, but once the terrorizing starts up, it rarely slows for the rest of it's running time.

Great quality! This was a good purchase as always. Didn't have any issue watching on a regular DVD player or blue ray. The price was fair as well being it wasn't a blockbuster movie anyway.

Blown away by it. Didn't expect much more than the typical girl fights for her life, but great twist thrown in. Creative deaths, not the same old stuff you see in other horror movies. Definitely worth seeing!

Its a great horror movie mixed in with some humor, Yeah its another home invasion movie but it a different how they do it, it has some jump scenes, the acting could be alil better, but overall great movie

It's not the greatest horror movie ever made, but there are enough twists to keep you engaged. I think the lack of likeable characters is a drawback that most films of this genre suffer from.

One of the strongest films to come out of the "Mumblegore" horror genre. It's a perfect mashup of Horror & Action! I started watching this film as a lark on one of those nights when nothing was going on and found myself sucked in within the first 15 minutes! The twists were outstanding and I never saw them coming!

If you enjoy thrillers or horror films be sure to check this one out. It's a refreshing take on the typical slasher movie. Played it for my friends on Halloween and they all loved it.

The most enjoyable part of this film is that it creates it's own category of horror movies. The best possible way to describe it is The Strangers meets Home Alone. It was entertaining!

You're Next is pretty good, it is not as good as the director's previous film the Guest. I still like it.

I was skeptical about home invasion movies, but this one actually surprised me. Pretty good plot and premise combined with a well shot movie left me pretty satisfied.
