This was very difficult to fly such a cool drone however doesn’t fly well can’t recommend due to that

have to many problems have not been able to get it in the air, worst customer support I have seen in a company ever

I purchased this the same day that my wife picked up a DJI Phantom Pro 4 V2. It appeared to be a refurbished unit, and not everything worked. I did my best to live with it, but every time I tried to use it, there was one or another issue. I took it back and got a DJI 4 also. Much easier to use, worth the added cost.

very poor info with product. Flew ok first few times, then lost connection with control box while only 40' away and would not respond, eventually slowly crashing and breaking all rotor blades. Could have been worse but now have no faith in the product to fly it again. Have now also read all the poor reviews, too late though. Wish I could return it.

After getting the Q500 4K in the summer of 2017, I was hooked on flying. With many hours of flight time in on my Q500 I was ready to step up to a faster and more feature filled drone. I never really considered the Typhoon H only because of the price point and so i waited for the Autel to drop in price but unfortunately it never did, but BB had dropped the price of the H down to a price I could not resist so once again I cashed out MY BB Points and took the plunge for another Drone. So far it has not disappointed me one bit,my first flight was in an usually high wind day and it remained stable for the whole 25 minute flight. Having spent so much time with the Q500 the H was a welcome step up and even though the controller looks like something from the military it has not been as unyielding as others have mentioned. I went with Yuneec on both my drone purchases due to 2 factors 1) all in one remote no need for a phone or tablet and 2) the camera. Both factors have exceeded my expectations and highly recommend Yuneec over DJI. I do recommend that if you want to start flying drones to start slow and get the Q500 first and then step up to the H or another feature rich drone.

I think it might have been used before. Box appeared to be opened before.

There's a defect in the gps software and ours just flew away. We lost it!

THOUGHT IT GOOD DRONE ..FLEW FOR ABOUT 10 MINS THEN IT FELL OUT OF THE SKY AT 110 FEET INTO PIECES TOOK TO BEST BUY 1 MONTH LATER THEY TRYING TO CHARGE ME MORE THAN I PAID FOR IT TO REPAIR...

Since I've had this drone it has crashed 3 * I've sent it away to the shop had it fixed so they said tried to fly it when I got it back and it crashed first time up it is in the shop more than anyting

I own many drones, almost all of the DJIs, the autel, the 3DR Solo. I fly them for hobby and business (part 107 certified). This is a really good unit to get - I will be getting more Yuneec products in the near future!

If you never flown a drone ever don't start with this one. Although it is extremely stable it's all the features that will cause confusion for some.Let me tell you what others won't or at least what BestBuy Didn't tell me.This drone will not turn on if you live within 5 miles of a airport(NO FLY ZONE) or even a hospital with a helicopter pad,also won't work in state parks,or by schools national parks at least it doesn't sync up at frontier park in Erie,nor does it anywhere within the 5 miles range of airport.But I can take a 8 min drive out the city limits and it works great.You MUST do the compass calibration at each different site where you fly.if your only going to go to the same place just do the calibration at that site your going to fly this drone all the time for the first 2 times your there and you should be good.Youtube has a video of this calibration.Im my honest opinion I would look at as many YouTube videos of this drone to see if it's right for you before your drop a 1000.+ on it.I will say this, alot of the negative videos of this drone on YouTube are Human error.As for the software updates I don't do them because if it isn't broke the way it is why change it.There are Some software update issues at times so if you don't need them which you probably won't.Dont do them.It's a gamble just like if you did one for a Android phone.I won't even go there.Ive had this drone for 4 months and I never did the any Software update.flight time is 16-18 min you do get 2 warnings I usually just bring it back at 2nd warning rather safe than extremely sorry.The drone also has a flight record it's in the flight logs in the controller that lets yuneec know what happen in case of drone failure from what I hear there really good about there 1 year warranty.I have been fortunate that I haven't had to make that call.In the end it is your money it's your decision if this drone is for you or not.Hope this helps.

Really love how this drone flies it's very stable even in the wind. Setup is faster now after firmware update and more features and control have been added. I hope Yuneec continues to add features and enhancements. Flight time is good for a drone this size it's much larger and more professional looking than other brands. I have several drones and it's difficult to keep the props out of the camera view but the Typhoon H has landing gear that raises and stays out of the shot. The Wizard Wand is an added plus! Yuneec Customer Service is regarded as very good from my reading on the forums. My only complaint is my camera could be a little sharper but I'm going to do a lens swap to a narrower lens.

Once the flight controllers get tuned, then you tune the gimbals for the GoPro. Then you tune the 5.8g FPV cameras and antennas. This cycle goes back and forth. Then you need to kit it up for transport and field access. Getting the Typhoon H has allowed me to simply fly and finally capture outstanding video. 'Simply fly' does not describe how well behaved this craft is, especially in windy conditions. I used to be very hesitant in winds over 10mph, even with larger drones. With this drone, the wind is simply not an issue. At the beaches and bays with wind and over water I have no fear. I have truly enjoyed hiking into remote beaches and exploring inaccessible shoreline and then setting up shots for the video. Using the Typhoon H with FPV googles and the HD video is nothing short of amazing. Far exceeds the best FPV experience I had previously. I highly recommend this product for any person looking to move into a capable photography drone.

This is not only a fun copter to fly, but it is a good tool and easy to fly. It is not designed as a racer, but it is still will fly quite fast while maintaining stable footage. The 4K video quality is nice and has several framerate and resolution options. The 360 camera is quite cool for team mode operation. The task modes are good and useful. I have recommended this to people before and would recommend it still. The one suggestion I would have is to watch the videos and read up on the instructions so that you understand the controls and operation of the aircraft BEFORE flying it. If you do not know what you are doing, you can have it in the wrong mode and crash.

I recently purchased a typhoon h with realsense I am a very inexperienced pilot and not very good with computers the typhoon is really easy to fly it is a little intimidating at first but the second your off the ground it's amazing. I has a issue with a update and called customer service they went above and beyond no waiting and made sure I had it going I would highly recommend this product to anyone that wants a quality product

After having another brand and see this uas being introduced in January I decided this one had the features I was looking for. This machine is rock solid in windy conditions. I like the photos and video that I have been able to take with it. I am looking forward to taking photos now that they just updated the firmware and added some great features every photographer loves . I have not had it fail me yet .It has meet all my expectations and more .

Finally got my hands on it and well worth the price. Read, read and read the instructions and some also on the micro SD card for you to read on your computer. Take the time out to calibrate the compass and accelerometer as directed. Learn in Angle Mode in a wide open area and very beginner friendly. Lots of features found on more expensive drones found in the H. Very impressed.

After purchasing the H I opened up the box and charged my battery and took it up for the maiden flight. I really love the easy of use and the integrated screen on the ST16 which means I do not have to drain my cell phone or tablet battery. The photo and video quality are excellent even at 1080p. I would definitely recommend this drone to my friends.

When i first read about it i fell in love! I received it quickly and brand new no issues. The device really flies 17min -19min max. Forget about the 25 minute advertisement. I got the free wizard with it which was great. The battery takes 2 hrs to charge and the charger does not offer any readouts on time left to charge or lipo internal resistance or storage discharge for lipos when they are not in use. When i went to get some extra batteries they cost $150 each which is bonkers! Luckily someone has taken the innitiative of building a charger adpater for the factory battery and even an adpater tray to fly an 8000 multistar standard lipo battery (which only costs 50 bucks)the real 25 min which it should fly. Video is stable and in my opinion good quality if you lock in exposure and white balance manually . The camera Auto settings are horrible. The company came out in mid july with a firmware update which i downloaded and installed on the St16 controller and the typhoon H. Although the new features were good i never got a stable flight after that and the typhoon started doing the "toilet bowl" Its a scary expirience in which stabilty doesnt exsist and it flies in incremental spiraling circles. Landing a Hexacopter that is spiraling didnt generate any good results...i wont show the destruction out of respect for the product...No one or anything was damaged aside from the typhoon fortunatly and the Yuneec rep was extremly helpful in analyzing all the flight data and offering free shipping to their repair facility and free repairs. So im out of 1,300 dollars with a new hexacopter in a repair facilty less than 50 days from the purchase date due to a malfunction of firmware that was supposed to make it better. Time of repair is unknown and i might just buy another and sell the repaired one when they are dkne with it. A + for effort but kinda of sad story.

I have been flying my Typhoon H for almost 6 months now and I love the way it flys. It's so easy it almost flys itself. The 360 rotation makes for great videos. I also like the retractable landing gear. You can't beat Yuneec's support, they are the best.
