After having this mirror for about a month the plastic portion of the battery compartment broke under the strain of the battery contacts and it stopped working. While the product is a great idea and looks fantastic, the actual design quality is very poor and I would not recommend this to anyone. ESPECIALLY at the pricepoint.
Sad, really, because I have come to expect better quality from products sold through Best Buy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I had to return the first purchased because of water damage the second one has since stopped working
