I love everything about the keyboard except how the lid opens. I does not open quite enough to prevent glare and promote optimal viewing on the iPad. And at times it seems top heavy due to the light wieght nature of the aluminum keyboard. However, I am getting used to it and didn't consider taking it back. The quality and response of the keys and unit is great. You do have to get used to typing harder on the keys than on a Mac computer though. I have had many Zagg keyboards and this is the best so far. The last one I had constantly had issues with the bluetooth disconnecting- I have had no problems with bluetooth on this product.

This item does exaclty what is promised....allows the user to type at multiple viewing angles, remove the tablet portion of the keyboard easily, and attach the keyboard for multiple viewing configurations. The battery on the keyboard is great...I use it regularly, and have only had to charge it once. If there are any negatives, the keyboard portion is quite heavy comparatively to the iPad, and the acutal case portion for the iPad is somewhat cheap and flimsy plastic. While the smooth and durable metal of the keyboard enclosure is great, I'd expect the same quality from the tablet case, especially at this price point.

I enjoy the ease of use this keyboard grants me. Plus the case protects my IPad air 2, and lets me keep it safe without worrying that something will accidentally turn it on.

Awesome case. Easy to use. Feels like you're typing on a real computer. Case that holds the Ipad could be a little more rugged. But form factore is perfect.

I have found this product to be easy to use and it feels sturdy. The keyboard works well and is just the right size so that it feels like a regular keyboard.

I had the Zagg rugged keyboard/case on my iPad mini and it was a great addition. Picking up an iPad Air 2 I didn't want anything as bulky, but I did want the same quality. Seeing as how I had a great experience with Zagg, I went ahead and picked up their Slim Folio for my Air 2. Initially I was a bit disappointed with how thin the portion of the case that protects the iPad is. I guess that is the whole point, but it feels pretty brittle and weak. Not to mention that the plastic does not have a great texture to it. So until you get used to holding the device, some extra care is needed. I'm planning on throwing some stickers or grip tape on it just so I don't feel like I'm going to drop it. Otherwise much like any other Zagg product I've had, the quality is great! The keyboard is responsive, and I can type well with it. The battery life is outstanding, the hinge and design for the keyboard is awesome. Now I have an iPad that can run as a full laptop while out on the road. with some remote software, I can access my home computer and run all my PC apps without having to lug my big computer around. Pretty sweet if you ask me! Zagg has also had good customer service in the past, this is another reason I have decided to stick with their products.

This is a great keyboard for the iPad Air 2. The iPad fits in a thin plastic cover that magnetically attaches to a U-shaped hinge on the keyboard, allowing you to quickly separate the iPad from the keyboard. This is a great feature. The combo keyboard and iPad is still pretty light. I like the aluminum construction and the light up keys.

I really like my Zagg products. This one is no exception. The keyboard and case can be separated so that your iPad is still protected but can function easily as a tablet. It props up easily for viewing. You can flip around the case and lower it back down onto the keyboard so it can function like a writing tablet. The keyboard is easy to type on. It was slightly difficult to find the backlight for the keys (look at the right arrow key. Be careful when opening the keyboard and case too far, it may stress the attachment area.

I have tried about 9 different keyboard cases and they all fell very short. This keyboard case is nearly perfect. I have had it 3 months and the battery is still going strong. The only thing I wish was for a battery life indicator, but for something you only need to charge once a year, it is probably not needed.

Great touch on the keyboard works good for note taking during meetings and offers good protection for my ipad.

I researched several keyboards for my new iPad air2. It was down to Logitech ultra thin vs zagg folio case. both had excellent keyboards. Logitech was a little lighter and initially bought it. After I got it home I realized that iPad air2 had to stay in it all the time. Returned it and got this which has advantage of easy removal. Can use alone with protection to read or can use a stand or can use as a minicomputer with keyboard. happy so far

Love the design and bluetooth keyboard but it was always difficult to angle the screen wide enough to work properly with out having to muscle it a bit...finally one of the two notches broke and you manually have to adjust the bar without the screen attached.

I purchased 3 keyboard cases to try out and this was one of them. I did like this keyboard as it is well made, looks great and has a nice layout on the keyboard. I ultimately picked the Belkin ultimate pro because it had a more compact feel on the keyboard. Some people may like the more fullsize keyboard on the Zagg. You can't go wrong either way, it was just a personal choice for me.

I just received the Rugged Book for my iPad Pro 9.7 and it's built like a tank! The keyboard is well thought out and the keys feel great. The backlit key option is a major plus of this keyboard and I like that you have four color options. The case adds a little weight to the iPad and I don't mind because this is the most versatile case out there for the iPad Pro 9.7. This case allows for several different viewing options and I like that you can tilt the screen to several different angles while typing. For those who have the Apple pencil you will not be able to charge it via the iPad while in the case. You will need to use the adapter that came with the pencil to charge it via the USB cable. The cutout for the charge port on this case is square and the pencil port will not fit since the pencil is round.

This product protects my iPad Air2 well and the keyboard is easy to use.

I purchased this based on the idea of being able to detach the keyboard, while staying protected. Needless to say, the hinge is too stiff and the case is too thin. The first one came out broken! The keyboard was nice and solid.

This iPad case is wonderful, high quality. I am very happy with it fits my iPad Air 2 perfectly. I love that you don't have to recharge it every other day Stays charged I believe it says, up to 2 yrs. Wonderful Case.

Adding the keyboard was a big plus to using the iPad. Don't know why we waited. This one is great because it is easy to remove if you need to and it has backlit keys.

I like the case very much, but you have to be careful that the magnets that hold it in do not break off. Do not bend the screen more than 90 degrees. The iPad is easily removed, and the top of the case easily detaches from the keyboard which is very helpful.
