From their point of view, it's totally dark. reason for the 4 stars is because when I hold my phone is a different angle, I thought my phone is still off when actually it's not. As for cost, it's worth it.

I like having control of who sees and what they see on my screen. I even get compliments on how good it shields. I forget sometimes that people can’t see it from the side angle when I am showing them something but they immediately compliment it since it’s so good, highly recommend
