Customers commend the InvisibleShield® GlassFusion+ screen protector for its reliable protection against drops and scratches, preventing damage to their Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G devices. Installation is generally considered quick and easy, and the lifetime warranty is highly valued, allowing for free replacements. However, some users have concerns about occasional bubbling, adhesion issues, and the relatively high price.

My first protector shield, installed October 2014, is still in use, on my Note 4. I chose this shield for my S21 5G Ultra 512gb, expecting similar results. My daily phone environment will not be nearly as harsh, as it was for my Note 4. I expect this shield to produce similar results based on experience. Installation was relatively easy and it went on without incident. The installation kit made it a fairly simple process, with easy to follow instructions. In fact, it was easier to install than my first one; producing no bubbles or small debris elevations under the shield. That was my biggest concern. My old one did leave bubbles and noticeable debris marks under it. It has a clean look and fits quite well. When compared to Gorilla Glass shields, most of which I have seen smashed and cracked on other's phones, this shield makes my phone more usable and presents better. I dropped my old phone multiple times, even off an 8ft ladder, without issue. Of course, I used the OtterBox, Defender series cover. I am using it for this phone as well. Because this is not a glass protector, it will not crack. This shield is attractive and makes this phone very usable. There is no degradation in the capacitance input on the screen. It is not, however, immune from slight wear scratching, from being in my pocket all day, while working, etc. It does not alter its functionality. The screen is still fully usable. My old one was very marred and scratched, never rolled up or peeled back, but continues to perform well. I subject my phone to fairly harsh situations. This shield will work well for my purposes going forward.

    Excellent protector, requires patience

Overall the screen protector is great. It's very clear, very smooth to the touch and finger doesn't stick like Zagg's regular Invisible shield protectors that have an almost rubber feel to them. It does require patience for the edges to stick and bubbles to disappear. I had Best Buy geek squad install and it turned out great, but it did take 1.5-2 days before all the bubbles on the edges/corners were gone. All the negative reviews about this are due to not being installed properly or not patient enough to wait up to 2 days for bubbles to go away. Also works fine with fingerprint scanner if you want to enroll your fingerprint until AFTER installing the protector (also can increase sensitivity under display settings). Only gripe is the length top to bottom is a little short and doesn't fully cover the screen with a case on. For reference my case is Otterbox Symmetry + Pop for S21 Ultra.

    Decent Screen Protector

Initially, I was a bit surprised when I opened the GlassFusion+ screen protector and discovered a flexible, film-style adhesive screen protector. With "Glass" in the name, along with the $39.99 price tag, I thought it would be glass. Next, upon applying the protector to my phone following the instructions to a T, I found that while yes, this protector technically IS case-friendly, it doesn't cover the screen fully and leaves a considerable gap between the protector and the phone case - so much to the point where I thought I accidentally purchased a smaller model's protector by accident. 3 stars for serving its purpose, but it didn't wow me and I wouldn't purchase again. The only reason it's still on my phone is because it was $40, and I'm not about to waste that.

This is the best fit I've ever had with a screen protector. Feels very well stuck to the device and doesn't feel like it's going to come off or peel unintentionally from the screen. Follow the instructions and take your time installing and you'll be fine. Use the included tools, especially the lint sticker, and don't let any part of the screen touch the device until you know it's all lined up precisely and keep fingers off the screen using the holding tabs attached on the top plastic tool. Took about 10 minutes and you can't even tell there's a screen protector on now

Zagg "glassfusion" screen protector is not glass!

First ZAGG screen protector that I have used that was not as advertized. Box says "glassfusion" but that is an understatement. Product does not contain any glass whatsoever. Purchased this screen protector here after ordering the phone. After receiving phone, I installed this screen protector per the instructions and discovered after removing the adhesive protective film that the screen protector was not glass at all. Went ahead with installation anyway. Installation was not quite as easy as documented but did get it attached. First issue was immediately apparent -- the screen protector is not the proper size for the length of the screen. Using the installation tool, there was about half mm space at the top and 1.2 mm at the bottom. I did notice that this screen protector did not have rounded edges like all other Zagg screen protectors used on my other devices. One day later, the problems began and the fact that it was not a glass screen protector was obvious. Since Android 11 is designed to use gestures instead of navigation buttons and comes configured that way, the user is constantly sliding their finger across the bottom edge of the screen and the sharp edge of the screen protector. This resulted in two obvious findings -- small scrape like paper cuts on my finger from the edge of the screen protector (could actually see scraped off skin cells on the edge of the protector) and second, that the screen protector began showing signs of wrinkling at the location of the gesture buttons. See photo attached showing issues with protector in area of center and right gesture button. This issue was reported to Zagg and they are investigating. Will post follow-up with their findings.

Absolutely love this screen protector plus the amazing lifetime warranty!! I love that it does not have the seal over the fingerprint scanner like a lot of other screen protectors I have had. It is amazing that if anything happens to the screen protector it will be replaced!! I also paid for installation which was so worth it!

This screen protector didn't last, but a month. Maybe it was how the employee put it on or it was me accidentally peeling the side of it and now a tiny portion is lifted up... Could be a one off because I've never had issues with Zagg

The screen started to peel off from the corners after a couple of days. The screen itself feels cheap and my finger doesn’t slide easily. I was very disappointed with the quality. I’ve had better products from Amazon at cheaper prices. Would not recommend.

ZERO STARS if I could. Zagg should be embarrassed with this product and should be refunding everyone who purchased this. Peeling up on the sides and corners like there's not enough adhesive on the edges. Terrible product and will try and get a refund with Best Buy.

    1) It's not even made of glass. They market it as GlassFusion+ and it's the first result for searching for a tempered glass screen protector. Their imagery makes it look like glass, too. It's made of PET plastic and it's so soft it can be scratched with a nail (the S-Pen leaves marks on it!) 2) Its installation is simply horrible. I was hoping it'd be easy thanks to all the included tools, but no. As many other reviews say, when you peel the first layer off, it pulls the whole screen protector with it, which ruined my first one of these. Oops, now you can't use it! 3) It claims to be scratch and smudge resistant. To that, I say it is neither, as it can be scratched by a fingernail (the box shows a key!) and eats up fingerprints. If you live in a cleanroom and keep this in a padded safe, you might be ok. Maybe. 4) Warranty? Pay for shipping for our mistakes! Yep, because their product is badly designed, I had to pay another $8 in order to get a replacement. Well, after installing that, it was full of bubbles (I followed their instructions to the word) and had some dust that it had picked up between peeling and installation. The only way I could get the bubbles out was by peeling part of the screen protector up (the included squeegee was ineffective and left scratches on the protector). This left a fingerprint on the corner of the screen, permanently adhered to this waste of money. If you're going to advertise it as glass and charge such large amounts of money, give me a glass screen protector. This thing is only going to get in the way compared to a bare phone screen. While it may protect the screen, it's barely useable due to bubbles, creases, and smudges. Don't buy this- and make sure that the screen protector you buy is actually made of what it implies to be, because Zagg has no problems with using misleading marketing. The manufacture of this can't cost them much, as it's made of cheap plastic, but they're charging exorbitant prices for it regardless. I was hoping that the "D30" that they're advertising would actually modify its properties, but no. It's entirely useless.

Very durable screen protector but with one problem, the screen can scratch easily. Provides crystal clear viewing on my phone screen. Haven't experienced the strength of the screen since I haven't dropped my phone to the ground, but I have a lifetime warranty with Best Buy should I experience the unfortunate damage.

Great screen protector. Edges start to peel after about 6 months, it also starts peeling around the camera lense. These protectors are supposed to be self healing, and while they may somewhat be, for the most part little scratches from fingernails or whatever are still visible under certain lighting. But best buy offers free replacement for life of the phone and they will install it for you, making this worth the buy.

I'm not thrilled with this, and for the price, I expected better. Pros: Same feel as the original screen Works great with the S-pen Relatively easy to put on Cons: Expensive, only includes one screen Doesn't recognize fingerprints well Can have complications in installing despite this also being a pro Commentary: I went back and forth between this and a cheaper version from another manufacturer and went this route because a phone this expensive needs all the protection it can get in my butterfingers. Only one screen comes with this. They should really throw in a second. The $10 one I bought for my S9 lasted 2 years and was great and it came with a second protector. I never used it but easily could have as in the last month the first one started to peel a bit, which leads me to believe I may have to change this one out in a couple years. If other folks can toss in an extra for a lot less money, Zagg can add an additional one at this price, I'm sure. Most of their cost on this I bet goes into packaging and all the materials they include to put the thing on. Unnecessary additions to me. A little MacGyver thinking and I could use all these extra materials to escape from Alcatraz. But, since they do throw in so much, the screen is pretty easy to put on, I'll grant them that. I will say, though, that the tab that says "take this one off first to reveal the sticky side" didn't reveal the sticky side, so kinda led me down the wrong path and I wound up getting my print on it. Didn't kill the project, but now I have this little tiny smudge at the top of the screen and, well, it bugs me. A second screen sure woulda come in handy. Just sayin' Fingerprint scanner - Without a protective screen, fingerprint works awesome. With it, not so much. I reset them after I put it on but it still takes 2-3 tries to get it. I'm trying to remember the exact angle and pressure I need to make it work, but not making much progress there. If fingerprint scanning is important to you as it is for me, I'm guessing there may not be a product on the market that fully addresses it. But, I believe there are a number of products that are much cheaper that will do the job just as well. The phone is big so it has to be easy to access info and when you get locked out because it doesn't recognize you and have to enter the pin with your other hand, it's frustrating. I can't rate durability until I drop it, but when I do (and I will, no doubt) if this screen cracks, this rating drops to a 0. If it holds through the 20th+ drop, I might bump it up a half star (seriously, I dropped my S9 A LOT, at least once a month, and there were some pretty bouncy drops on hard pavement, even a couple at jogging speed) where I thought the thing was going to just be demolished. When I turned that phone back in, it looked as good as new. No lie. Not one single scratch. Even the phone guy was impressed. Science, yay! Fun fact based on actual scientific experiment I performed: When I removed my 2 year old cheap protector from my S9 I laid it over the new protector on my Ultra just to see if the pen would work. Hypothesis: Putting my old protector over my new protector will render my S pen useless as well as my finger. Results: It actually recognized both the pen and my finger without any problem! I didn't test the fingerprint scanner as I couldn't imagine a second screen would improve it, but now that I write that... Conclusion: This is a 3 for me really based on the price and performance for that price. I think there are a lot more options out there that are much less expensive and just as good. Google "best screen protectors" and this one tends to be one of the top rated, but scroll down to the bargain ones, I think you'll find you'll get the results for less money. Wish I had done that.

I have had this installed for about 3 months, here is how I will break this down. Day 1, it is not case friendly, one edge will not fully seat onto the screen, if your case is not a rigid plastic any bit of side movement will displace it. I would say the claim of "Glass" is a stretch, if it is truly glass, it is very soft, mine is littered with scratches, the entire thing. It will keep your device from getting scratched in your pocket, but it will not maintain a clear image for long. If you are looking for a lasting product, look elsewhere. From bubbles that never settled out, edges that flex and collect hair, lint and dust. This is a product made for people that do not actually use their device.

This screen protector is a good value because of the warranty. The Best buy staff are willing to order your replacement and put it on for you which is a very handy thing to have. My only complaint is it frequently I'd say once every 6 months starts to bubble at the edge which then leads to eventual peel back. Typically this is due to fabric from pockets building up and I'm assuming eliminating the adhesive.
