This case is a solid option, provides reasonable protection for the iPad, you'll be less likely to lose your pencil and the keyboard stays charged for a good amount of time. The only main downside is the magnets connecting the screen part to the keyboard can be a bit flimsy and while usually fine, only having two positions to be able to leverage the keyboard is not always comfortable.

I really like the size of this key pad. Keys are easy to use. Easy to charge and last for quit awhile. Con: It is a little heavy.

Was cheaper on Amazon but I decided to buy from Best Buy because of the convenience of not having to wait for the item to be shipped since my store had it in stock. Seems like good quality for now. Was easy to pair with my new iPad. I wish there were different colors to pick from.

Loving it. This completely replaced my laptop for class. Very good for lap use, I add a pillow but the back stands up well. Also if you have Apple Pencil, the case wraps around it to make sure it doesn’t get knocked off.

Highly recommend this one. It’s definitely superior to the Apple branded one (assuming you dont care about a trackpad). It has a dedicated battery that lasts for months per charge. Which is a huge bonus because it means that it wont drain your tablet.

While I like the keyboard action, I doubt I’d buy this again, even though I relied on the NYT Wirecutter, CNET and Toms reviews. This replaces a Logitech keyboard for an Air 2 iPad. That keyboard failed and because they are getting harder to find, I just traded the Air 2 for an Air 4 and looked for a good keyboard case that wasn’t the overpriced Apple unit. Good points: the keyboard has a good tactile feel. I am a very fast typist. I need a good keyboard because the on-screen keyboard slows me down something awful. The protective frame around the iPad is quite sturdy and offers a good buffer against shock if dropped. The two viewing angles are good. There’s space for a stylus atop the frame. I bought the Zagg stylus unit at half the price of Apple’s but the Apple stylus can recharge atop the Zagg frame if I recall. Bad points from my perspective: this keyboard/case works well … if you keep it on a hard surface. The frame is held in place only by magnets and is prone to tipping over and falling over and off if used in your lap. The Previous Logitech keyboard was a single unit in that the IPad snapped into the frame built in to the keyboard case and much easier to use on your lap. (The new Logitech case for the Air 4 appears to be the same construction as the Zagg case.) In addition, there are times that the Zagg keyboard will not work on the Air 4 with certain functions, I.e. trying to edit a Facebook entry, trying to fill certain online forms, trying to fill out surveys such as this one, and I end up using the screen keyboard or going to my Mac. I am now typing, slowly, with the on-screen keyboard. NOTE: I do not know if this issue is the keyboard or an Apple issue, so that’s a question mark. So, the price was right and it has some positives, but this is not the best product for my needs.

What a great find!! I was looking for a protective case and keyboard for my new iPad Air. At first, I bought an Apple Magic Keyboard when it was on sale, but it still was expensive. However, even though it looked very modernistic, had a trackpad, and felt sturdy, I realized that the Magic Keyboard really doesn't protect the iPad if I should drop it and it was limited in its flexibility for usage. Then I found the ZAGG - Pro Keys Wireless Keyboard on sale. I found it sturdy enough, not perfect, but it definitely offered much better protection for my iPad if I should accidentally drop it. The keyboard is comfortable like my 10-year old ZAGG iPad case and keyboard. I also like that I had the ability to be able to take my iPad Air out of the wrap-around, folding keyboard, yet the iPad Air was still in a protective case. I don't think I need a trackpad at this time. Maybe in another 10 years, I will downsize to an iPad with a protective case, trackpad, and keyboard to use as my computer.

This case is awesome for my iPad. The slot for the pen is great to never lose it. The keyboard clicks in with magnets when I want to use it. And when I want to use my tablet without the keyboard, the keyboard does not register pushes of the buttons (when folded back). And if I want, it’s a very easy detachment.

product worked just fine as described. Wife decided to return it as she just didn't use the keyboard that much plus the added bulk and weight or had to remove it. She's not much into tech so wouldn't remember to charge it or turn it on and wondered why the keyboard didn't work. Product works well, paired easy to her iPad but not her thing.

Love this keyboard. It’s on almost instantly once you snap the iPad into one of the two magnetic locking positions. Battery life appears to be very good, which has always been a plus with all the Zagg keyboards I have had in the past.

I cracked my screen trying to get my iPad in a case I bought on amazon that looked like a lifeproof but was not close. I found this one after and wish I had found it first. The case is detachable from the keyboard and for what I paid the case alone was worth it. The keyboard works great. This is an excellent case and keyboard. Zagg has built a case that protects and is not intrusive.

If you are looking to protect your tablet and secure nothing is going to happen to it this is the product for you. Front standing to typing everything flows the way it’s suppose to. I stand by this product 100%.

I purchased apple iPad air 10.9 ". And a Zagg pro keys wireless keyboard case. Both work very well and I love this keyboard. Feels very nice to use. Works great. Highly recommend both products

This is a great keyboard if you’re looking for an alternative case, keyboard, combo. It has a good stand and is very stable. The battery for the keyboard also lasts for a while and is incredibly easy to connect.

Sill works, replaced the battery once. easy to install and maintain.

I bought this for my new iPad Air and I have no complaints at all. Everything lines up perfectly and the keyboard works very well. When the keyboard is folded all the way back, it automatically shuts off so there’s no accidental buttons pressed. When is flipped back for use, just press the power button and you’re typing again. I this case and keyboard combo!

Not only is this the best keyboard on a budget for the iPad, but it’s DETACHABLE!!! So I get a pretty sturdy case for my iPad (definitely would have a glass screen protector though) but I reattaching it when I need to use the keyboard is a piece of cake. I’m using the keyboard to write this review right now! The keys click so well and nice, it isn’t super quiet, but I like to hearing the tapping so it doesn’t bother me. Pairing it to my tablet and/or another device was again, super easy! Now….. if you spill something on this, then you are done for. I did and luckily I had warranty from not only BestBuy, but from the actual ZAGG company (you can register your keyboard when you get it, their customer service is awesome). I love the shortcuts at the top of the keyboard, they make life so much easier, especially the language button!! Overall, you’re getting a pretty awesome budget keyboard! 10/10 I’d recommend this even to my grandma.

The keyboard works well as it should. It stays connected to the iPad. The keyboard charge is pretty long however, I can't tell you the exact amount hours it does its job.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas! She is very happy with it! It works well with her iPad Air, response time is very good. She loved how easy it was to travel with and not need her laptop! Great option from having to spend $350 for the one from Apple.
