It was very easy to connect to Bluetooth. You can easily turn off the Bluetooth and use the screen keyboard. It was shipped to me very quickly and the tech people were most helpful in making sure it would fit my iPad. The iPad separates easily from the keyboard if you are reading a book at to take a photo. I recommend it.

I need total protection for my iPad Pro. The ZAGG - Rugged Book Keyboard Folio Case for Apple iPad provides that protection. The keyboard is responsive and back lit. Unlike the prior keyboards and cases I have its doesn't have a swivel mechanism that will break. Transitioning from traditional typing to viewing or poping the keyboard off to use as a tablet is quick and easy.

Case is a bit heavy, however, protects my iPad. It is very sturdy looking, nothing fancy, does the job to protect. I ,as yet, have not dropped, however, pretty certain will be in good shape if i do! I love having a key board. Makes typing easier for me. I found that while traveling. I prefer to use my soft case without the key board since it is on the heavier side. Would purchase again ...no regrets!

I bought this iPad case so I can carry my iPad around to many work sites without worry of dropping it or banging it around. I can easily toss it in my car or stack it with work items without worry. The external keyboard makes using my device easier and easily detaches if I don’t want to use it. A great buy!!

Fits well, long lasting battery. Quick response. Slim design.

Much heavier than my previous folio case. But it stays open at the angle you choose, and is very sturdy. Last case had plastic clips that held the iPad which quickly broke on both cases I had, requiring me to fasten the case to my iPad with a rubber band, that would slip and cause me to lose the connection. Pleased with this case.

Good item and rigedy fits with iPad but the price not cheap

These keyboard cases are used for call reports on our ambulances. They almost exclusively used inside the vehicles and not outside/on the scene- so they aren't dropped or really even abused any more than in other users' experiences, We bought one initially for the 2017 model iPad and then bought three more for the 2018 model iPad. We've had this version for the past seven or eight months, and so here's my review based on that. We chose this case over others due to its ruggedness, backlit keyboard, and the fact that it's a name-brand, but the initial rollout for the 2018 model was abysmal. Zagg's own support said this case didn't support the new (now current) model when the BestBuy website said it was for the new (now current) model, so we were stuck trying to figure out a solution to protect the three newer iPads we bought. I had to just buy these and hope they were what we needed since the UPC was different than the 2017 version. The case is "rugged" in the sense that it will protect the iPad from drops, but we've had issues with three out of four of our cases (the three that are regularly used which are for the three newer tablets we have) where the hinges are loosening up drastically and are no longer able to hold the iPad upright after just the slightest movement. This happened just a couple of months of use, and for the price of the product, I would've expected better. The hinges were incredibly stiff at first, but now they're very very loose. The other thing that I dislike is that this case uses micro-usb to charge itself, given that we've already had a few cables break and it's non-reversible like lightning and USB-C cables. The overall build quality apart from this issue is good and I really like the detachable, multi-color backlit bluetooth keyboard, but the loose hinge issue is something that is a common annoyance anytime we use this product.

This thing is built like a tank. Very solid in hand and great protection. But the functionality is also pretty great too. The keyboard and particular functions on the keyboard make this thing a breeze to use. I went through about three of these type cases before I settled on this one. You can’t go wrong.

I LOVE this case! And the keyboard is really cool, too. Excellent protection: someone bumped my iPad and it dropped free from the keyboard and fell about 5' to the floor. NO DAMAGE! The keyboard is backlit in a variety of colors & brightness. It can also be turned off. I wish I bought this a long time ago!

This is a great purchase with my son’s IPad. Trust, he has already tested the durability several times when he dropped it with his tablet, and everything still works great. Wouldn’t recommend testing it the way he did, but know that you have great protection with the functionality of a keyboard, all in one.

This keyboard folio case is versatile, protective, and functions very well, but it is EXTREMELY HEAVY! I like the fact that the case remains open without having to rest the lid in a slot (the hinge is articulated, and it stays in-place when opened). The keyboard itself can also be removed if you just want to use the case for protection without the need for an external keyboard.

I was a little skeptical when examining the case before putting the iPad in it. But after using this case for a month now, I absolutely love it. The keyboard feels great (and lights up different colors), the case is super sturdy, and I enjoy being able to manipulate the case/keyboard combo to whatever situation I’m using it for.

Appears well made. Tight fit but appears secure. Little pricey.

This case/keyboard was exactly what I was looking for. It protects my iPad and I can set the angle at the exact position I want. It also detaches if that is how you want to use it. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 start is that it is a bit hard to open. Should have a thumb indentation to make opening it easier. Not a big issue.

I bought this case because it was sturdy, had the ability to separate from the keyboard, and has a long battery life. So far it is working as I expected. The only complaint is that the hinges are very stiff. It is awkward to open and setup like a laptop, I think the hinges need to be more flexible.

The Zagg Ipad cover with keyboard works well. It's sturdy and durable. The keyboard works well and is easy to type on. Only downside if it is one is that the instructions for use are only online. The Ipad can be separated from the keyboard and still be in a protective sleeve if you don't want to use the keyboard

I just bought this item, so far so good. My last zagg keyboard lasted just over a year. The keyboard works fine, the open close design is a disaster. It eventually broke, I called Zagg, it went beyond the warranty period and they couldn't do anything. I got a pretty good deal in this item, the reviews were good so I'm giving them another try.

Literally the only thing I want more than what this is would be a) a price point of $79.99 and b) some little foam cushions around the edge to keep my screen protector from cracking on flights. If apple creates functionality for the magic mouse, this will be superior to a Macbook Air.

I bought a Zagg case 2 years ago that finally broke due to ware and tear. I went to Best buy to get a replacement. the salesman showed me the new more rugged Zagg Ipad case with key board. It was reasonably priced and I was up and running in just seconds after taking it out of the box.
