The Zagg "Rugged" keyboard case protects the iPad well and is well worth the investment for the type of banging around I put my device through. Only downside is that the pad attachment to the keyboard becomes unhinged occasionally; not a huge problem as you can quickly snap it back into place. More of a minor nuisance. However, I like the protection and the sturdiness when I can use it essentially as a laptop when at a desk or in my lap.

This keyboard / case is rugged looks great and very protecting. The battery on the keyboard last a long time. I have had it for 2 months and haven't recharged it yet. I highly recommend this case.

Case is very rugged and protects ipad air 2 well. Nice that it is convertible to "tablet" and "normal keyboard mode." Only downside is weight and thickness. This quadruples the thickness and more than doubles the weight of the ipad.

This case provides excellent protection for the iPad. The detachable keyboard was just what I needed. $150 is a pretty hefty price tag. that is the only down-side to this case.

My Zagg case for my iPad Air 2 is great! It comes with a keyboard to make typing easier when using for work, but disconnects to I can surf the Internet easier.

This is a really sturdy keyboard and case. I like how the keyboard can be removed and you can use the iPad by itself. I've never had any issues with the keyboard hinges that others have been experiencing. The only downside to this is the weight that adds on to the iPad. Other than that, this is a great keyboard case.

The only reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5 is the stiffness of the control buttons on the case. It is bothersome for those of us with arthritis. Otherwise, it is an excellent case. Outstanding protection for your device, and a superbly designed keyboard. The iPad sits very securely when attached to the keyboard, and adjusts easily to the angle desired. Flip the iPad around and you have a great adjustable, well balanced stand for watching video. iPad is easily removed from keyboard when desired. Love using this as my "mini-laptop". Highly recommend.

I bought this as a gift for the iPad Air 2 64GB that I bought my wife to use when returning to school. Obviously it fits great, as it should since it's made for this model of iPad. I honestly tried quite a few others and found this one to be the best addition. We wanted to have an illuminated keypad to add. This model provides a very responsive an efficient Bluetooth keypad. Disconnecting/reconnecting the iPad to the keypad is super simple. The hinge is sturdy and even with a good bit of use still holds true to its quality (it's not loosening, which is awesome). My wife can be a bit clumsy at times and though we have the apple insurance I still feel much better knowing that this cover is protecting it. I'm not willing to drop it on concrete to test it, but it has fallen onto both carpet and wood flooring so far and has been completely unharmed. It does add some weight and it does feel more bulky (because it is), but having better protection is worth it to us. It gives a look not unlike a toughpad used by field techs. We really like it a lot.

I bought this because I have been wanting a rugged case for my iPad and would like a keyboard. So far I'm ok with this one, but it isn't perfect. The hinge turns very hard and I'm sure I'm going to break it at some point. It is very expensive for what it is.

The case provides good protection as you would expect from a rugged case, even has a slight lip that raises the edge around the screen. Keyboard is easy to type with keys feels firm and solid, not flimsy like others. The one thing that I think could be improved on would be the magnet holding the iPad to the keyboard. When folding the iPad to close it, if you are not careful or try the fast, it can fall out of position.

I recently purchased this case online for my iPad Air 2, and I'm very pleased with the design. I've used Zagg keyboard cases with previous iPads, but really like the versatile design, ability to separate from the keyboard but still protect the iPad, etc. It has been a great purchase.

This is a very nice keyboard. It does make my i pad a b it more bulky but it does everything I need it to do.

This keyboard is nice, but kind of heavy. Maybe if there was a color variety then I would like this keyboard even more.

I've been very pleased with the craftsmanship/durability thus far and the battery on the keyboard has been as advertised...which exceeded my expectations. The cost is a bitter pill, but if you are handling the ipad everyday, carrying it all over, i don't know of a better alternative. I would buy it all over again. The black looks and is durable, but I think it is still very professional looking.

Adding this cover and keyboard combination to an IPad Air 2 gives it a laptop feel. Biggest plus is the rubber exterior that helps to absorb impact energy if the device is dropped. Magnets are spot on when flipping your IPad around to watch videos or movies. Overall design reminds me of military grade equipment! Best keyboard that I found when looking for that desktop to laptop feel!

The Best Buy associate had recommended the Zagg keyboard case. After using Logitech products I decided to buy the Zagg since it would protect the iPad better. The cover is excellent. The iPad detaches from the keyboard, which is very convenient when you don't need the keyboard. The keyboard powers up easily and is easy to use - even better than the virtual keyboard. The backlighted keys are also convenient. The battery life is supposed to be about 2 years (without using the backlight). Overall, it's the best keyboard cover I've found. The only disadvantage is the power button on the cover is designed such that it makes it difficult to power up/down the iPad. But other than that it works great.

I liked around at cares for the ipad air 2 for a while before buying it and this was the best decision. The keyboard is fast to respond and there's hardly any lag. I really like the different positions that it can be used in. The different positions it can be used was the main reason why I chose this case. I can lay in bed and still use this without worrying that it slides off or falls while I move or lay down. Upon removing the ipad from the keyboard it's still not that thick and if you leave it attached to the keyboard it is bulky but you know your in control and there's no chance of it sliding out of your hands. Over all I am 100% satisfied and I will definetly buy another one once this ones life ends.

Love the case and keyboard. The price is too much.

High quality keyboard that is very sturdy. It controls iPad with or without being attached. Which is a great feature when you have your iPad connected to a tv.
