Good protection but quite heavy. Only works horizontally

I like the ease of use just like a laptop. This is a sturdy case.

ZAGG definitely has the keyboard competition beat in a few important ways. The plasticized, rubber-like material protecting the iPad is shock resisting, non slip and feels nice to the touch all at the same time. Praise worthy. But, I wish they were permanently attached. Instead, it's a two piece held tenuously by internal magnets. On the plus side, the keyboard feels better than most AND lights up on command. However, it seems to connect only "some" of the time by Bluetooth and all together the case keyboard combination weigh as much as 2 1/2 iPads! Seriously! Too heavy ZAGG! Also, the magnets that hold it upright in various positions are too weak to allow much screen tapping before your $1K iPad falls hard on the table. Forget typing in bed or even on your lap. I'd MUCH rather have a ONE or TWO position locking stand. Annoyingly, they're probably the reason it's SO heavy. Anyway, it's flawed but probably the best keyboard case available right now - especially considering the $99 price tag - well under most of the competition. Do yourself a favor and check these out in person. One persons favorite is another man's least...

This case is made with excellent workmanship to both protect and offer a stylish alternative to the added protection. Other cases I’ve tried succeeded in one way or the other... but never both. The keyboard is superior and can be used all day. The shortcut keys are spot on! Love the backlit keys and the option to change the light color as well!

Heavy but Rugged- breaking my back, but not my iPad.

This case is great protection and the keyboard is very handy

I really like the case and the keypad. The only thing I would change that when you remove the pad from the keyboard. The build in keyboard would come and stay available. That is th only thing I would change. I am using the keyboard now and it is very comfortable. Because of the keyboard I use my MacBook less now.

I highly recommend the Zagg Rugged Messenger case for my new iPad Air 10.5. It protects the iPad separately and then magnetically attaches it to a keyboard and stand. I love it

The case is sturdy and seems protective. Holds the pencil well but is easy to take out of the holder and use when needed. Functions well as a keyboard. I have not had any problems.

I don't use it daily, but it's a good product, a bit bulky for some. However, it's effortless to use and install and protects my iPad very well.

This is a solid case/Keyboard for the money. My two main gripes are the stylus holder not being removable as I don’t use one. 2nd being price. I think this should be 20-30 less as it’s not a brand new product at this point in time. The battery life is solid, I’ve only changed it once since my purchase in October. When you start typing it turns on automatically and usually catches the first few keys that were typed which is impressive.

I purchased this case for my new iPad Pro because of my experience with a previous model. The case that I had on my iPad Air would stand at any position without the assistance of a "kick stand". The kick stand makes it a bit more difficult to use as a laptop. It works fine on a hard surface though. Zagg added a nice design feature to improve the audio. The iPad Pro has stereo, but the speakers are on the ends/sides. This case covers the speakers, but Zagg was smart by having gaps where the speakers are. So the audio is coming toward you instead of out the sides. I also like that there is a mute key. The newer iPads removed the mute switch. Apple decided having it in the control center was enough. That isn't as convenient as a switch. But, this case has keys to control volume, including a mute key. In general, it is a good case. I wish it was self-standing without the kick stand, but I am learning to position it correctly.

If you want to save money and don't mind that it is a bit "heavy" than other alternatives, then you can consider this one. I only use it for about a week, it looks the battery life isn't really that great. There is a pencil holder for you apple pencil - this is a plus.

I have purchased three keyboards - all great!! The iPad Pro I purchased only has one keyboard for the 10.5 iPad. It is a little heavier than I prefer but I know it is protecting my device. I do love the fact that it has back lit keys - in seven different colors!!! :-o)

A little on the 'heavy' side, but it protects the ipad perfectly and feels solid. The keyboard is awesome and speeds up so many things that you do on an iPad.

What I like * iPad fits secure in case * keyboard has backlit keys and works well * like the ability to remove the keyboard easily and quickly Downside * case is on the heavier side. It does not bother me but for some they might want something different.

I love my ZAGG keyboard and super protective case! The only drawback is it’s weight and it’s great when I need to use the iPad Pro on my lap.

I’ve used cases like this in the past and don’t feel sturdy like this one. While it’s a bit heavy I feel it gives enough support. The keys are fine, don't make a lot of noise and they light up sometimes which is nice. It’s good. I haven’t seen any issues for now. The price can be a bit high, so that depende on the consumer but if you need one of these, it’s a good option. Obviously it’s not meant to be the same keyboard as a computer but I think it’s great.

Perfect! Turned my iPad into a laptop. Keyboard is excellent. Love the backlight. Maximum protection for the iPad. Nice magnetic stand.
