not great at all back is flimsy doesn't stand well

The hinge breaks easily especially if used frequently

Returning. Not what I was looking for. Will not protect if dropped.

The keyboard was hard to pair and would not stay paired.

Don’t like magnetic separation. It’s keeps coming apart.

Great case still in use but will need a new one soon.

I have to say this is one of the best cases I’ve ever used on an iPad. The other review saying it is unstable on a desk or lap is just ridiculous. I use mine mostly on my lap and never had it be unstable. The magnets are strong and the case is awesome protection. The keyboard stays charged for a long time and the keyboard has nice key travel. The back light is also top notch. Zagg did a great job on this one

The removable section of the case, which holds the iPad, relies on magnets to keep it in place. This is an idiotic design, as it’s very easy for the iPad to detach and fall out, you are left with the keyboard section in your hands and the iPad on the floor- likely broken. I hope Zagg receives a bunch of complints about this- if they haven’t already. It would have been much better to use retainer clips or some other more mechanically-solid means of keeping the iPad where it belongs- in the case!

This case/keyboard combo is just what I was looking for. Protects my iPad and gives me an external keyboard when I want it.

Great responsive keyboard. Keyboard is detachable which is great. Backlit function has several cool colors. Case for iPad is also very sturdy and protective.

Was glitchy from the beginning and then the numbers stopped working. This is my 3rd rugged book and the others were great. This design is not nearly as good as their 9.7" design but was the only keyboard Zagg offered for the 10.5" at the time. Really wish Zagg would have just enlarged their 9.7" version

I have been using the Apple Smart Keyboard with a back cover for my iPad Pro and was looking for something fancier. This fit the bill and then some. I am so happy with this purchase. A tad bulkier than what I’m used to, but the design and functionality are solid and streamlined and it just feels fantastic when you hold it. Skip the Logitech and Apple options and get this one.

I bought this the day I bought my new iPad last week. The. Keyboard itself is fine. The problem is that the two parts detach very easily. I have dropped my new iPad at least a dozen times already. It would be risky to use it on your lap, and I have meetings that take place in large rooms with only chairs and no desks, making it impossible to use to take notes. And I’m afraid I’m going to crack my iPad screen.

Bought thi for my iPad Pro 10.5 and it turned it into a mini laptop. The keys are responsive. I wish it had a brightness shortcut. The material on this feels high quality.

I owned a 9.7" rugged ZAGG case and loved it. Durable, strong, thick edges on case. protected iPad. I bought a new iPad pro 10.5" and bought the rugged messenger case w keyboard. The design is 100% different and inferior to the 9.7" design. The iPad pops out of the case by the hinge - the lip of the case does not securely hold the iPad. I now have a broken iPad because of this poorly designed ZAGG case. Disappointed in ZAGG - why did they change designs for 10.5" ZAGG offers NO other option for the 10.5". Now I have a $100 ZAGG case (that I am ready to trash) and a broken iPad that can not be fixed. I hope ZAGG product marketing and engineering make design changes to uphold their brand name and commitment to customers They have been great in past. hope so for future. Apple just launched a new 10.5" air - so ZAGG will need to find quality cases for this size.

This week, I purchased a new iPad Air (10.5") along with this keyboard. After charging the keyboard, I attempted to connect the Keyboard to the iPad without any luck. The iPad and keyboard were not talking to one another. I took it back to Best Buy and had a technician try to make it work. He could not. The technician got another keyboard out of the box, and the results were the same. Best Buy gave me my money. They were dumb founded why it would not work. Ironically, I have another ZAGG keyboard for a smaller iPad and it will connect perfectly with the new iPad.

As a keyboard it's quite flimsy and unstable. I was hoping for something I could easily use on the desk and on my lap, but the the stand isn't strong enough on my lap - it kept wobbling and falling back. Not ideal - hoping to find an alternative.
