This keyboard has it all. It really completes my ipad pro and turns it into a laptop. Using it as I type now. The color changeable backlit keys are just great for low light. Even has shortcut keys to emojis and other neat features. Really a great value compared to what else is out there.

I have used Zagg keyboards for all of my tablets and love them. Unfortunately, this one just doesn't quite work. It's way too heavy and makes the surprisingly lite iPad Pro 12.9 just too heavy. You may as well be lugging a full laptop at this point. The other more concerning point for me is that the slightest movement of the iPad makes the hinges creak and grind and I feared they would break. After spending that much money I just didn't feel it was going to stay the course so I returned it.

I found this item to be exactly what I needed to compliment my iPad Pro. What I needed was a keyboard to turn it into a pseudo laptop, when in need to do research or type, and a tablet when I am mobile. I am aware from other rewiews about the hinges but after a month of using this product with the upmost care it is holding up well.

I have loved this spectacular keyboard. The only thing I would love to see on this would be a slot for the apple pencil. Otherwise, the functions outweigh any of the other keyboards I have had in the past.

This is an awesome keyboard for the 12.9" iPad Pro. I was going to get the Apple keyboard, but read many negative reviews. I purchased this keyboard and have loved it from day one. It makes the iPad look like a MacBook. The feel is so much like a Macbook that I actually try to use a touch pad. (Please add a touch pad to the keyboard ZAGG) The keys are spaced just right and are smooth. I love the fact you can change the backlight color. The other neat function is the ability to use command for quick access, like bringing up running apps or the quick home button. ZAGG claims 2 years of battery life, but I haven't had it that long to know. I've had this for a few weeks and haven't had to charge the battery once. The only downside is the weight. Once the keyboard is on, it does add a lot of weight. Overall I would recommend this product for people who have to do lots of typing in word processing or spreadsheets.

This keyboard attaches so nicely to my iPad Pro. It looks just like a MacBook and feels so much more secure than the other keyboards I looked at that were just like stands. I can put it on a table or even on my lap and I don't worry that the iPad will fall off. It adds a bit of weight but I think it makes it feel sturdier.

What I like best about the Zagg keyboard is that it is very supportive of my 12.9" iPad Pro. It holds on to it very securely, which is important for such an expensive tablet. Typing on it is super-easy. I can also take off my iPad fairly easily and turn it the other direction so that I can color or whatever. The cons are that it is heavy. It is also vague in it's instruction to connect the blue tooth setting. I would have liked my iPad to swivel instead of disconnecting it to turn it away from the keyboard. Although that may leave it less secure? Not sure. And also a place to attach an iPad pencil would have been the icing on the cake. But overall a very nice keyboard in my opinion.

It’s been about 19 months and I have gone through two of them. If you utilize the feature where you connect, disconnect, and open and shut (which you all do), stay away from this case. I loved the flexibility that this offered when I bought it but the docking part of the case has broken twice. I replaced the first under warranty, but the second was outside of warranty so I need to get a new keyboard case. It earns two stars because I am too nice to give only one (I am Minnesotan) and because it was really nice when it lasted. I will likely replace with a Logitech keyboard case because those have lasted a really long time with my standard iPads.

Item works good great lights awesome feel but the sleeve that holds the iPad to the keyboard is not very durable it will break at the Slidez tension from using the keyboard in conjunction with the iPad Pro. If this helps this is the second one that I have purchased I found the second one online online for $75 when the original price was $149 so that should tell you that it is Indeed the best but not the most durable. By the way I'm geek squad does not service this type of defect in the product you will have to replace it on your own if this breaks

I initially purchased the apple keyboard, but also needed a case to protect my iPad Pro. So when looking for a case I discovered that I could get a keyboard and case combo from Zagg for less than the purchase price of just the keyboard from apple. Anyway, I'm happy with the new keyboard and its functions/features.

The Zagg Slimbook completes the iPad Pro by being able to easily manage the size, handling and functions of the iPad. 5 stars if the squeak at the hinge would go away. That is a nitpick though

The first Bluetooth keyboard I ever bought was by Zagg for my iPad 5 years ago. I loved it. I bought this one for the iPad Pro 12in expecting I would love it as much but was highly disappointed. It had great functionality and a backlit keyboard but it was so thick and heavy that I felt like I was carrying a bulky laptop around instead of an iPad Pro. I did give it two stars because Zagg is a good company and does make good products.

Delivers to expectation. Has great battery life and connects easily via Bluetooth. Only challenge is the cover is difficult to remove from iPad, so do not expect to take off regularly.

Couldn't be more pleased with this. Yes it adds weight as others have mentioned but the positives so "outweigh" those issues (sorry for the pun). Switching between different modes is easy and pretty much seamless after a few tries. It's reliable. Always connects without a problem. Just love it.

I love this case. It turns your iPad into a legit laptop. Unlike most iPad keyboard cases that are flimsy or fold out kind of funky this one actually closes and opens like a laptop. The multiple colored keyboard is also a plus.

A little more fragile than I had hoped.. Luckily Zagg is replacing for no charge... The issue was the hinge got somewhat sloppy where it held the IPad to the Keyboard...

I would give this thing 5 stars if the case around my iPad hadn't suddenly decided to crack right around the power button after about 2 months of ownership. It's never been dropped, and usage hasn't been rugged or what I would consider "heavy" (meaning, I take really good care of this thing). As I was typing away about a month ago, and the case suddenly made a little "crick" sound. The plastic suddenly separated right near the power button at the top, where I would assume it's the weakest. For a $130 case, This should not happen after less than a couple months of use. Tried reaching out to Zagg on Twitter about it too, only silence in return. Just bummed.

Does the job, plus it looks great very stiff and firm. I would suggest if you have an iPad pro.

This keyboard/case replaced the Logitech version that damaged my iPad Pro within a week of buying it. ZAGG makes an amazing product that works effortlessly every time. The backlight keyboard is a great feature not found anywhere else. Definitely would buy again.
