Upon first inspection, this keyboard seemed to be high quality. The keys are big enough for average hands (considering the size of an iPad mini), and click enough to feel "natural" as a keyboard. The exterior "skin" feels good and after 8 months of use, is not peeling (except where the hinge broke, see below). After about six months of daily use, the hinge started to break. After 8 months, it has split in two, held only by the adhesive of the textured, colored skin. Zagg does offer a year warranty, but I'm confident the replacement will break in about the same amount of time. Make sure to register Zagg products immediately! If you wait too long, older products disappear from dropdowns on their registration page! This adds difficulty to the warranty process.

Works as expected. Simple easy to use and charge lasts a long time.

The Zagg is a perfect case for the iPad Mini 2 and the fit is outstanding! Keyboard works perfect and price makes it affordable!

I purchased this for wife, who often takes her iPad mini on short business trips when she prefers not to take her laptop. She has been very pleased with the keyboard so far & reports no negative issues with it's functionality. Her only complaint is that it is somewhat bulky & heavy when playing games; however, it is only a minor annoyance to remove it.

If you do a lot of typing on your iPad I highly suggest this little gem. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I can type much faster with a keyboard. I have large male hands and sometimes small keyboards are difficult to type with, this one is not. I sit in meetings and take notes, and send emails with ease. The product also works as a great case for the iPad. So far it seems pretty durable and reliable, after 6 months of use it's going strong. My wife loves hers, and I couldn't imagine my iPad without it.

This Ipad keyboard case is a wonderful tool. It converts an Ipad to a mini laptop. This was a gift and it is fabulous.

When I first bought this product, I did not know how to use it but I read the instructions and figured it out. It is easy to use. My son is a toddler and he uses it. I use it for homework, emailing, taking notes in church, and for typing my manuscript. This device acts as a case because it locks and unlocks my iPad. It connects via Bluetooth, which makes it easily accessible. I would recommend this item to anyone who likes to stay connected by typing on a keyboard versus on the iPad screen.

My daughter loves her keyboard, she says she can write stories easier with the keyboard. She's 10. The rose gold coloring is not smooth, it is a little textured. If it were smooth, it would be very pretty. It is cute and she loves it.....that's all that matters. It was a good price too! It's durable, not cheaply made. I think we got a quality product. The iPad just snaps in it, she says it feels secure to her. I prefer that it always remain in her Griffin case, but I digress.

Keyboard works well and I am very happy with my purchase. Keep board is big enough to type and holds a good charge.

I like it. Actually, I like it a LOT. I only wish the Bluetooth wasn't dropping connection because almost every time you open up your ipad, you need to pair it over again which is a real neusance (unless you don't mind going in the settings each time you want to type something). Other than than, it's a perfect tool for my little Apple friend ;)

This keyboard is better than I expected. The battery lasts a long time and is very easy to use. My son loves it.

This was perfect for my needs, I had a litle trouble at first connecting the bluetooth, which was user error but coupled with the other item that i mention below results in a 4 star rating instead of 5! The keys feel great, the only drawback is that they are not backlit so I have to leave a light on when working in the bedroom before sleep!

Purchased this for my GF's mini, she loves the case, protects the iPad, plus she can type for emails and also for meeting notes during and the final version. That there are colors to choose from makes her a lot more happy! Connecting was easy battery life is good!

I really love this little keypad. The color is great and it is so easy to use and it stays charged for 3 months.

We bought one for each of our children and they work great. Great way to learn to type and it secures their iPads.

This combination case/keyboard is great for college students and may help take the place of a laptop in a pinch.
