I recently upgraded my iPad 3 for and iPad Air in which I had to purchase yet another Zagg keyboard. The ONLY reason I purchased another one is because my first Zagg keyboard was amazing! Love all the different features, looks and ease of use it has. I would definitely put this on the top of your list of keyboards for your tablet.

This is a a very useful case. It is an improvement over prior models because you can check the battery life. I wish you could open the case to lie flat on a table, but that is the only drawback I can mention.

This keyboard is really easy to use. My only complaint is it won't work on certain websites and I can't scroll. Other than that, it's pretty sturdy and portable because it connects like a case.

Having always used the Logitech keyboard for previous iPads, it tough to change brands. Since the shape of the iPad has changed, I feel the Logitech keyboard made for the iPad air did not secure it as well when in viewing mode. It's more of a chore to take the iPad air in and out of this case, but I use the keyboard so much that I never really take it out anyway. The backlit keyboard is the major plus for this keyboard over the other cases. Just make sure to turn it off when not using or it will drain the battery faster. Still can go weeks between charging. Great product!

Wanted a keyboard for using the ipad a bit more like a laptop, this was an easy fix. It is easy to type on and the backlight is nice, although not necessary. Only issue, and this isn't with the keyboard, is that using "enter" doesn't submit, it goes down a line, I'd rather it do the first... Otherwise very happy!

I really like this keyboard. The main reason I bought it is because of the backlit keyboard. The one thing I dislike is it doesn't fold back to use flat. It works much like a computer.

Overall, I'd rate this keyboard as very good and close to excellent. Likes: ONLY keyboard/protective case I could find that had "full size" shift keys on both sides. If you QWERTY type this is a MUST have as a previous keyboard I had on an iPad 2 had a much smaller shift key on the right side that led to many frustrating mistypes. Also, the rubberized exterior grips well and the case allows viewings at multiple angles. I love using the navigation feature while setting the iPad on my car's dashboard - talk about GPS envy from other drivers!! Don't likes (mostly minor): The first model of this case I purchased had an "a" key that you had to hit twice to make work, so I had to return it. My current, same model, case/keyboard does not have this issue, but I wonder if it'll happen again down the road. I could only find the case in white, which dirties up pretty quickly. I would have preferred black. Often, after the iPad has been off for several minutes, the Bluetooth does not automatically reconnect. I have to turn the keyboard on and off again to reestablish connectivity, which always works, but is a little annoying. Overall, I'd rate the ZAGGkeys Folio Case for iPad Air an 8.5 out of 10.

Protects the iPad Air well. It is comfortable to type on with a good tactile feel. Love the backlight features with the changeable colors and 3 different brightness levels. The battery-saving algorithms are intuitive and well-suited to my style of use (sometimes wanting to use the screen keypad and someimtes the Zagg).

Good product, I purchased it for my iPad air2 so I am aware it is not a perfect fit but I needed something quickly. Connects quickly. Slides off and on easily.

I bought this for my dad (65+ years old), who prefers the tactile feedback of a real keyboard to a virtual touchscreen keyboard. I suspect a lot of people agree with this preference, not just elderly people. Operation is easy, as is the initial setup and Bluetooth pairing. I see him using the keyboard portion a lot, as his uses for tablets are similar in nature to laptops (writing emails, web surfing, etc.) in addition to the typical tablet uses like streaming video, light gaming, etc.

I decided to purchase this for the price and after reading several reviews. Backlit keyboards are surprisingly hard to find! keys feel comfortable and have a solid feel to them. I just wish they would offer the same backlit feature for the iPad air 2.

I'm sorry, I can't think of anything bad about this case. I paid a little more for, what looked like, better feeling keys and keys that light up. It did not disappoint. The battery life is great. I've had it a couple months now and only charged it once. I'm sure power users will not have that same experience. The bluetooth was super easy to set up. The iPad pops in and out fairly easily. The outside is kind of rubbery, so it has a nice grip. It won't easily slide out of your hands or off a smooth surface. This is a well-engineered product and I highly recommend it for your iPad Air.

nice keyboard. i dont like the cover for the back and i would have for sure bought the other one without the cover but it was not available and i needed a keyboard for a business trip. easy to type on, keys push down far for the tactile feedback, the lighting is great for when you need to type in a dark place and battery lasts a long time (i never even think about charging).

I bought this keyboard because I liked the fact that it has a long battery life, is rechargeable, and has lighted keys. Plus I didn't want to always be typing like I'm texting (using the touch screen keyboard). The only drawback to the product IMO is that it could be molded in a heavier plastic. I haven't had any issues with it though and I take care of it.

Love this keyboard case! Works great, long battery life, thin, compact. I got the white case to go with my white ipad Air, looks really nice. Keys are easy to type on, tho I had to return the first one I got because the return key became partially detached after 4 days. Best Buy swapped it out, no problem. This second case has worked well, and I recommend it.

Awesome Case for the Money--great charging, lighting effects, simple/easy keyboard to use, very protective of the iPad product, and decent price. Downside is that the opening & closing of the case is too rigid--requires 2 hands to pry it apart and is not particularly flexible.

Watched multiple reviews of different brands and models and decided to go with Zagg. Went to the store tried it out and was sold once I put it on the iPad. I bought white original but was unhappy with how much dirt it picked up. Swapped for blacked and haven't had an issue.

I purchase ZAGG because my previous case did not fit into my traveling bag. The ZAGG fits perfect. Keyboard works great, has a good feel, response well and is backlite with three intensity levels and a hold bunch of different colors to choose from. Really kool. Battery life is great . Only negative is that it does add weight to the iPad Air.

I have had this item for about 1 month. My wife purchased a similar keyboard case for her iPad 2 about a year ago and loved it. Only issue on hers has been that the keyboard loses connection with the iPad just about everytime she turns it on. Knowing that I purchase this one and at first had not problems. Recently - in the past week I too am seeing the connectivity issue raise its head. The Bluetooth icon on the Air says it is connected to the keyboard but it really is not. Usually have to turn the Air off and back on again to get the keyboard connected correctly. Really like the fact that as the case closes it turns off the Air with a faint click. The Zagg keyboard & case for my wife's IPad will not automatically turn off the iPad. She must do that manually each time she is done. Got mine on sale for $69 which was a bargain and did it online at Best.com. Your will like this case and keyboard very much!

The Bluetooth connection works great, the battery needs recharging only every few days for me (a heavy users). When closed it proves a cover for the iPad and the overall thickness and weight about the same as my prior iPad naked. The backlit keyboard is tremendous (operates when dark) and additionally provides an indication that the keyboard is working.
