I recently upgraded my kitchen and spent around 15k on my appliances. Let me tell you I was thrilled. I decided to split up the brands and purchase based on best quality and looks. When it came to my hood I debated and decided to go with the zephyr 42 inch. Primarily because I did not want a bulky hood over my kitchen. I heard it was pretty quiet and it looked nice. Well ever since I installed it, the hood has not worked! I’ve had 2 service calls and now they want to replace all the wiring to get it fixed. This is concerning. Given I’ve been out of using my oven/hood I called the company to complain. First they told me normally they fix it 5 times before they replace it. That is concerning. Do they have faulty products? Second I finally convinced them to send a new one and they agreed but they wouldn’t cover installation which I already paid. After going back and forth they agreed and now it’s how much the install would costs. They are trying to short change my install and they told me they are doing me a “favor” by sending a new one. I was in shock since the hood never worked since we installed it on the wall. I’m writing this to make sure you review other reviews. I’m concerned about the quality of the product and the customer service. Good luck should you decide to purchase.
