When I ordered this it was working great for like a week but after a few days it stopped working. A red light appeared and I tried everything I could to fix it. I've balanced it all correctly like every video I saw said to do but nothing worked.

All parts were not included with my order, . The tripod wasn’t even with my order instead there was a part that wasn’t even listed as an accessory. Very unhappy that after waiting I cant even use my product:

I have shot few times with this Zhiyun-Tech Smooth-4, combined with my Galaxy S10. Zhiyun did pretty good job with this device. Pros: -Solid all day power -Smooth as silk footage -excellent integration with Filmic pro app -excellent built -excellent packaging/carrying case -handsome piece of gear Cons: Sometimes wobbles and goes unbalance. My understanding this three way combo of phone, gimbal and Filmic ap works a bit better. On my S10 quality of the footage is awesome and outstanding and oh so smoooooth. First impression, it comes in very good packaging. It is made of good and sturdy material which it won’t give you the impression of a cheap device. It has many controls and features that will only work with the app. If you do not use the app then it will only work as a stabilizer. The control dial on the side works very smoothly adjusting exposure or zooming. Again that will only work with the app. The video or images captured in the app need to be exported to camera roll. One of the main features that drove me to purchase it was the object tracking and the vertigo effect. Unfortunately the tracking is extremely flawed, initially it will attempt to track but then it gets lost and spins out of control. The vertigo mode is not intuitive and it takes time to understand how to use it. Pros: Good quality materials. Smooth controls (in app only) Works as a phone charger (with cable only) Great stabilization Cons: Heavy Bulky Flawed object tracking Controls work only with app.

This thing is CRAZY! My wife and I wanted to shoot some video of our dog, and this was the one we read about. What we wanted: an easy to use gimbal that would smooth out the motion shots on our hikes. What we got: ALL that, as well as some very crazy technology that is currently way beyond our ability. Best part - for the price, it's an amazing gimbal that's really quite easy to use. This is definitely not a "try this out and have to upgrade later" scenario - this is full featured awesomeness!!

I bought this to do some travel filming and it's fantastic. Battery life is incredible - I charged it when I left and it only came off 4/4 bars about a month later. I love that it comes with a detachable tripod which makes setup much easier as well as offering an option to film static shots with the phone. I was concerned that my iPhone XS Max wouldn't fit but without the case it *just* balances properly. I wish I could leave the phone in the case but that's a small price to pay for the quality you get with this gimbal.

I have used this a few times since purchasing it and find it very easy to use. It has lots of great features for the price. Plus it is not heavy at all. I would strongly recommend it.

Coming from a Smooth Q this is a great upgrade. And with Filmmic Pro adding support for the Smooth 4 its a no-brainer. 12 hrs of use and it charges your phone with a list of other perks! Vertigo, zoom and the list goes on

So easy to maneuver. Excellent quality. Minimizes the need for you to touch your phone while operating.

Stabilization is pretty good, especially for what I got it for, which was $100 at the time. The features and stuff are nice but I’m taking off one star because my phone, which is a 13 Pro Max is sort of too big and heavy for the stabilizer at times. If I move too crazy it can mess up everything, on lighter and smaller phones the stabilization is perfect though.

Easy to use and works flawlessly. Connected well to my 8 Max. The app is straight forward. I showed it 2 of my musician friends they each ordered themselves one on the spot .

Even with built in image stabilization in modern phones this gimbal does a spectacular job at smoothing out your phone video footage. I was torn between this and the DJI gimbals but chose this as it gave you a lot of camera controls at your hand. Someay be turned off by the slew of buttons but given the sophistication of modern phone cameras why not have it at your fingertips. Just be prepared to keep at hand if your moving around a lot since it's not super compact. I keep mine in a back pack I'm out and about.

I’m only giving it 4 stars because sometimes the gimbal just doesn’t want to behave and work like it should. When it works it is amazing. It just has its moments of wanting to glitch and that can be annoying.

I got this for my son for Christmas, and so far, so good. He absolutely loves it. It seems easy to use, and it does an amazing job stabilizing video.

Learning curve is steep. It can be great but it's hard to learn all modes. Does not play too nice with android and not really made for big devices like S20 Ultra. Drain phone battery fast. Very sturdy and good quality.

I specifically bought this with the idea on using my Galaxy Note 8 on it and using Filmic remote on my iPad to remotely control the gymbal. It does not work. A careful read of everything I could find it implies it works but does not outright say the remote part works. I returned

This gimbal does a great job with its function and it’s ability to pan with press of button is great too. The only issue I find with it is that when you have a larger phone (I have iPhone XsMax) you have to take the off the case for the phone for the gimbal to work properly. As for everything else that a gimbal is for; it works great! It’s not professional level high end level, but it’s great for an beginner/enthusiast level user.
