Never spent this much on rice a cooker, that being said, after tasting the rice and seeing how consistent all the rice is I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Does take twice the time than a regular cooker, but well worth the wait. Makes my meal prep much easier and also tastier than using my stovetop and having to monitor that. Set and forget with this and it keeps warm for a long time. Have yet to try the Umami setting. Cooks amazing brown rice, white rice, basmati, jasmine & even oatmeal. Try to wait for a sale if possible for better value.

You guys need to own this rice cooker, i know it looks pricey but this is worth every penny!!!Love this rice cooker the rice is always fluffy and ready to be consumed, tasty and i immediately ate out of the pot. 10/10 highly recommend this rice cooker!

I absolutely Love it! Saves me so much time and energy and is easy to use and clean. My rice comes out perfect (just follow the instructions and do not deviate) every time! We have a large family and are always having gatherings so this size is perfect!

I bought this rice cooker for my parents because I felt it was time to replace the current one that is possibly older than me. It cooks porridge and everything with no problems, I don't know how to explain it but the rice has a hint of sweetness now and tastes amazing. The rice is always cooked perfectly no matter what, definitely worth the money. I'm hoping it lasts as long as the old Zojirushi that my family has used for the past 30 years.

I love my new rice cooker. We had a great rice cooker prior that lasted over 25 years, and it recently needed to be replaced. This is even better. Rice is a staple in our household, so it is important. No regrets. I have used it multiple times before writing this review. I love the Umami setting. Takes longer, but steams the rice to perfection while self-adjusting to provide the best results. One may use this cooker for other functions as well, such as steamed vegetables, etc. If you desire excellent results each and every time, this is the one.

cant go wrong with a zoijurushi made in japan. this rice cooker is great, cooks fluffy rice evenly. simple to use.
