After only 5 months of using this pan occasionally it started to peel off. What a disappointment for a brand that used to be high quality. See photos.

We already have a Zojirushi rice cooker and bread maker, and this Zojirushi-branded electric skillet did not disappoint. My favorite feature is the removable pot...it makes clean-up a breeze without having to worry about getting the electronic parts wet (or soapy). Safety-wise, the removeable electric cord is magnetically attached. We already had an instance where someone tripped on the cord, and it harmlessly detached without the unit being dragged off the table or the person falling down. The skillet heats water up quickly and is simple to operate with an analog slider. It's also large enough for our family of five to enjoy hot pot dinners. I know for an electric skillet, this is on the pricier side, but if you can find it on sale (like I did), it's a good investment if you enjoy doing hot pots at home.

Just perfect size for 2-4 people, small gathering. Easy to clean, heat up very fast, of course good looking too. Love it.

I purchased 2 - one a gift and one for me. The metal insert pan begain liquifying black paint / slime black circles onto my pancakes at 13 months of use. Zljirushi offered to sell me a replacement insert pan for a $15 discount. Support also emailed me FDA testing info on their insert - the info shared their pan insert coating is FDA approved for consumer consumption when it begins to break down and adhere to food and/or leaches off during cooking. The electic grill by itself was nice and had even heat at all times. Purchase at your own risk as the metal insert pan coating started to leach and come off after the one year warranty was up. I’m not using the product any longer. It was an expensive griddle given the metal pan’s failure.

Hot Pot on a snowed in day is bliss. Highly recommend!

Excellent quality. I am very pleased with this skillet, the temperature is easy to control, and it is big enough to prepare a meal for a large family. I have used it to make steaks, and it worked to perfection. I recommend this skillet.

We really enjoy using this skillet. Very easy to clean and provides perfect temps. can remove actual cooking portion and place on top rack of dish washer. Or hand wash (recommend)

I use it outdoors for cooking. Love it! Has keep warm option which is great. Generally this brand products are excellent. I have the rice cooker too and wish I bought it years ago. Highly recommended buying it!

Missing the electric cord and actual pot. Best buy custer service refused to do anything useful and i am forced with return option only. Comoletely useless nearly empty box. Thanks best buy, this was a christmas gift.

Have owned Faberware Electric Fry Pans in the past, but saw this and thought I would try it, as I have a Rice Cooker by Zojirushi, and have no complaints. I have nothing but good things to say, and am a Zojirushi customer from now on! I love that the inner part is removable, which can be brought to the table, and is super easy to clean. The stay cool handles are great to get a good hold of. Worth every penny spent.
