Zombie slayers Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita and Little Rock leave the confines of the White House to travel to Graceland in Memphis, Tenn. Along the way, they encounter other post-apocalyptic warriors and a group of survivors who find refuge in a commune. The scrappy fighters must now rely on their wits and weapons more than ever as they soon find themselves in a relentless battle against smarter, faster and seemingly indestructible zombies.

Love the first movie, no way I wasn’t going to get the second. More comedic but still has a minimal amount of horror. Very laid back movie if I say so.

The original Zombieland was a classic. Great cast. Great story. Zombies and special effects looked good. Sequels are always questionable. Very rarely are the better than the original and more often then not they’re disappointing. I’m not going to say Double Tap is better or even equal to the original, but I will say it’s a decently good movie. Still has a good cast of characters. Story line is alright and zombies/special effects are just as good as the original. I usually only buy the disc if I plan on watching it multiple times and I have already watched it several. If you haven’t seen it or on the fence do yourself a favor and just pick it up.

I was in a more unique situation with the Zombieland films, as I saw the first just a day before this one. Most sequels that are made this long after the last are usually not great. I was pleasantly surprised here. The cast all returning was a good start. They hit the ground running and pick back up where they left off. The characterizations were spot on. There are also great new characters introduced that sometimes steal the show. All that said, the plot is paper thin here. This is not a film to look to give a new way of looking at life or change the world. This is pure fun, and it’s great. Go in looking to have fun for a couple hours and this thing will deliver.

I'll be honest, I kind of thought the first Zombieland movie was so-so. I loved the humorous take on the zombie pop-culture phenomenon, but it felt just a little too short and lacked something that truly set it apart into the realm of top-shelf movies for me. Fast-forward 10 years lately and we finally get this sequel. The good news is, this movie doesn't forget its source material in any way and all of the actors reprise their roles. There's plenty of comedic gore and a few new characters, but all I really need to say is this: If you liked the first Zombieland and want more of that universe, you can't go wrong with this one. If you weren't on board with this franchise before, you probably won't find anything new to change your mind either. 4/5 stars from me.

Sometimes a sequel gets lost trying to be too much like the first, or they attempt to do something new and in the process, change so much of what made the original good that the sequel seems like an entirely different property altogether. With Zombieland Double Tap they brought back everything that made the original film so much fun! Yes, some of the jokes seem a bit redundant, but the actors bring so much life to these characters that we still enjoyed the ninety minutes we spent in their world. Jesse Eisenberg was great, as always, as were his cohorts. If you liked the first, I cann't imagine why you wouldn't enjoy this one!

It is very rare where the 2nd movie is as good, or possibly even better, than the first. I think Zland: DT is one of those films. The characters have become more developed and you can really enjoy their personalities more. They now have more established styles of fighting and are thriving. I love the introduction of Madison, she is a great addition. The dopplegangers was a great touch as well. We also get a more depth look into the classification of zombies which leads to a huge conflict in the movie. Overall I would definitely recommend this one.

The Zombieland movies seem to be made for 4k HDR. Double Tap has an impressive picture and great sound. I have not gotten around to the commentary yet or the special features except for the ad council extra on the 4k disc. The others are on Blu-ray, movies anywhere, and Vudu. I like the Zombieland films. The cast interaction and the wittiness are the best things. Double Tap's new additions and new directions are very welcome. The best additions are Zoey Deutch and Rosario Dawson. There's also some funny cameos that I won't ruin. Stay through the very end of the credits (yes, past the mid-credit sequence) for some extra goodness.

The Trailer was a little misleading but in a good way as it didn't give away the best parts. like most trailers. The basic format is the same, with the group of four just as you would expect. I don't like Zombie movies in general. I friend recommended the 1st Zombieland and lent it to me. I bought my own copy to keep in my collection, after watching it. I had high hopes for "Double tap" and I thought it was as good or better that the 1st. There is a mini scrip at the end don't miss it!!!.

One needs to watch "Zombieland" before watching this movie! The cast returns for another go at the zombies that have taken over the world. This time, however, there are other characters thrown into the mix. (This is on the back of the case, so it's not a spoiler..) Like the first movies, Woody Harrelson carries it with the dry wit and humor he puts into his character. I would recommend this movie to anyone that likes a good zombie movie, but with a lot of good fun and humor thrown in.

I rarely like sequels that try to out-do the original (think Deadpool 2, which stunk), but ZLDT actually pulled it off. Same type of humor with actual laugh out loud moments, likeable cast and new additions, great zombie action... If you loved the original, you'll love this one too. They did a great job. Somewhat of a spoiler: Bill Murray is hysterical (unlike in The Dead Don't Die, which was a great example of how not to make a zombie movie)!

This is an excellent sequel to a franchise that could have made billions, if only it didnt rely on the oversaturated zombie flick genre of the last decade. We all could use a good laugh about a world ending pandemic right now, unfortunately for this film, zombies are yesterday's problems. Great characters... it is nice to see the last 10 years havent been too unkind to Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin. Also, the end credits scene is a must watch for Bill Murray fans, and let's face it... who isn't a fan of Bill Murray.

I really wasn't expecting Zombieland: Double Tap to be as good as it was but boy was I wrong. I'd highly recommend you purchase this special combo package with the digital copy, Blu-ray and DVD. With this wonderfully enjoyable film, it's nice to have that digital copy to be able to watch on your television, computer, tablet, or phone. The process of ordering from BestBuy and the delivery is super easy as well as super fast!
