I picked up this modem after moving and not wanting to give Time Warner any extra money for using their equipment. With doing so the modem has been great and was even easy to give Time Warner the mac address so they could do an easy connect.

To be honest, you could get away with any cable modem, this one gets the job done, and it's pretty inexpensive.

Works good I have had for about three months with no issue. Cost less then other items like this.

I had been renting and decided to save money buy purchasing my own. The customer service person made the choice easy. This device has been working well ever since. No issues at all and the increased speed is wonderful.

My original modem died and I bought this as a replacement. Very simple "plug and play" install.

I needed a new modem and went into best buy -- the gentleman working suggested another model, but this one was on sale, so I went for this instead as I need only basic wifi -- online shopping, facebook, streaming, etc and it works great. Definitely worth the price!

Was recommended this by an employee i told him that I have high speed Internet and intended to maximize it for streaming video so far it has worked great i had to call my provider to activate this modem but was walked thru process and no problem since

My father has a previous model like this which I admired for its performance. After a lightning storm killed my nerves modem I needed a quick and dirty replacement. This modem exceeded my expectations and performs very well for the price.

Modem works but for a few dollars more I recommend a wireless modem.

Yes I would recommend this modem because it does what a modem is supposed to. Plug it in and it works. The one issue we had with it was calling Comcast to provide MAC address so they could provision it on their network.

Simple no frills modem that gets you connected. We're using it with Comcast, no problems handling 25MBit speeds. It doesn't come with a router built in though, so you'll need your own wifi router to connect to it.

This is a great modem for the entire family or business.

Great product, easy to install, got everything set up and I'm really happy with the way things are working. It's good to be able to trust Best Buy employees to know their products and help you find the right one.

I really needed any modem but it's the router that counts.

A great item for web browsing and playing games online

I purchased this for a customer that no longer wanted to pay Comcast $10 per month to rent a subpar modem. Great device, actually provided faster speeds after installation, than the Comcast equivalent.

I replaced my comcast router and never looked back!
