Generally happy with the phone. Has good battery life is fast and camera seems good (Haven't taken too many pictures yet. There are a few bugs with the upgrade to Android 7 so that is why not 5. Talked to ZTE support and they seem pretty helpful.

Bought this to replace two year old OnePlus One. Chose it because of the great sound as I stream my TV and movies and participate in many conference calls for work. The front facing speakers are perfect and the microphone system works extremely well. Perfect for my needs.

This phone came with flagship level specs (snapdragon 820, 4gb ram, 64 gb of memory, 5.5" screen) for the cost of a mid-range handset. It performs incredibly well. Apps open without delay, switching between apps doesn't cause any issues, and the camera is quite fast. I also really like the design - as phones move to smaller and smaller bezels, it is remarkable to me how large the screen is relative to the size of the phone. It is easy to use one-handed, and fits in the pocket well. With a screen that is the same size as an iphone 7 plus, the physical size of the phone is significantly smaller. On the camera - it works well and takes nice pictures overall, though it's performance in the dark isn't as strong as some higher end phones. The fingerprint scanner is fast and accurate - the only time I've had an issue is after a workout when I was a little sweaty. One can debate the proper location of a fingerprint scanner - the front so one can open the phone while it is laying on a surface or the back where it falls naturally to hand. In most uses, I think I prefer the back, but it isn't a strong preference. The ZTE skin is very light and can basically be disabled - the "stock android" launcher really is close to stock android, though it does include some ZTE gestures and voice command. Double tap to wake is nice, as is taking a screen shot by pinching with three fingers. There are some issues. First, it does not wake the phone with notifications - that is frustrating. One has to hit the power button or unlock it with a double tap to see notifications that have just come in. There are apps that wake the phone with notifications, but given that most Android manufacturers find a way to do this stock, I would appreciate it. The home, back and recent app buttons are also problematic. While I love their minimalist appearance (and that they are below the screen), they are not backlit. This makes them hard to see at night - while finding the approximate location in the dark is possible, it is a minor detail that should have been better. The other issue is a strange one - it doesn't have a native calculator app, which is just odd. Sure, there are many in the store, but still... At the end of the day, however, for the price and performance, I really don't think the phone can be beat. If your prefer a two-camera set up, go with the Honor 8. For a little more, the OnePlus 3t has a slightly newer processor, but no expandable memory. Really, I am thrilled with the purchase and would make it again in a heartbeat.

I really, really like this phone. Battery life is awesome, screen is bright and beautiful and it has some great features, like scheduled power off/on. But with any phone, there are some quirks: occasionally it does not reconnect to mobile data after being connected to wifi. Figured out i can switch airplane mode on and off and it connects, but not sure why this happens, but at least its rare. Also when youre on a call, the screen sometimes comes on and you can press keys with your face, especially if youre resting the phone on your shoulder. Probably something with the sensor. And i miss lighted navigation buttons and knock on and off (had a lg before - miss that feature) and water resistance would be nice. But in all, im really pleased - hardware specs, great sound and solid build for the price!

Powerfull specs at an attractive price point. A good phone camera is a big deal to me, and this one seems rather great so far. Only negatives are Android buttons are on screen and don't illuminate. Also the gold looks kinda pinkish.

Had fantastic battery life the first time I bought it. Now, that has diminished, but not too significantly. I love the camera and videos. I am always complimented on how great they are. It is kinda heavy, but bearable.

My last phone was the Samsung S4. Well this new phone feels like a big up grade. The finger print scanner is cool and fast. The camera, speakers, and screen brightness are a huge upgrade from the S4. 100 percent happy that I got this phone.

Can race with latest mobiles. Good Specs with very less price.

Performs well, takes great photos. Overall a great buy.

I've had this phone for a little over a month now with no problems at all. It doesn't have the best camera but the sound is excellent and from my experience it moves just as fast if not faster than the s7 for almost half the price

I play with many phones, ZTE have done themselves a good one with the AXON 7, Performance..fast, sound . fantastic, build...solid, camera..very good, features...just right, price...$399 !! why buy a Samsung and pay $300 more???

This phone is wonderful. So far, I've had no issues with it (other than learning it's many features). I run it on Cricket (an AT&T MVNO) - good bye to the ball & chain, endless phone upgrades and the 2 year contract treadmill. I come from Sprint with an LG G3 and Samsung GSIII. Sprint said it would work but when I actually went to 2 different "Tech Stores" they can't (or won't) add it. The cell signal at home, work and in between is nearly full bars all the time! (Sprint was 30-70%) and Wi-Fi is powerful. The fingerprint scanner is very fast, the display is great (I usually run it on "Auto brightness"). I've also already got $50 back per Best Buys' "Price Match" program as Amazon dropped it's price. For more info, check out all the YouTube reviews on this fantastic phone.

I have no issues fitting all of my apps on this phones. Best picture quality I've had in a phone yet. Pretty nice. Only thing is comes with a new sized charging chord. But an extra can quickly ordered and obtained online.

I'm using this phone for a month now. All I can say is WOW. I'm impressed. Especially the battery life, speed, specs, are all meet my satisfaction. People can disagree. But Ijust saved myself $400 .... thanks to note 7 recall.

I love my Axon 7. Good camera. Love the speed in boot up and movement apps,files etc. Loads of features to personalize in all areas. And especially love Dolby Atmos in my music, movies and in my daydream VR. Thank you.

I saw an ad in flight and read online about reviews. The purchase of this phone proved to be so far satisfactory. Audio is awesome!! I got screen protector, a shield free with this (an unexpected gift). It is totally worth purchasing this product than spending hundreds of dollars on premium phones (unless you are a fan of a particular brand). The only problem with my phone is - even though I switch off data and internet during night time, it still downloads messages but at a very slow rate. For example, if your download speed is at 4 mbps, it might be doing at 4 kbps even though data is switched off. I see in the morning a few updates (not all) and when I switch on data, it gets every other pending messages.

Phone has great camera, signal quality can vary depending on what carrier you have, features are great, minimal bloat apps, 2 front facing speakers that sound better than any other cell out there

For the price, this is a great phone! It is sturdy and capable of handling all of my needs. The space available on the phone is amazing! I can fit every app I want on there now, and all of my music.

I have come from Samsung Galaxy 1 - 7 Edge. Samsung just hasn't been performing as good as what they used to, so I was looking for a new phone. After reading reviews I chose this one and have never been happier with the phone. Fingerprint scanner is very fast. After loading all the apps and using it for a few months it still has not slowed down. Love the speakers pointing towards you. Screen is not as bright as Galaxy S7. Music and headphones are better than any phone that I've had. Camera is not as good in low light as s7e but better functions than Samsung. 2nd best camera I've ever had, really close to s7e. Clean!!! Not a lot of bloat ware. In fact only 1 app that can be removed.
