Purchased it and upon opening the box the ac charger was missing. How am I supposed to use it? Returned.

To say simply something doesn't work is too broad a statement, unless in fact, it is true. YES, it needs an update, badly! But screen mirroring DOES work. It works easiest so far using my nexus 7, i've also gotten it to work with my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10 inch. What didn't work for me was using my Samsung Note 3. Nor can I get the mirroring to work WHILE using the hotspot. A dialog states the number of allowed connections will be reduced to 4 devices and just times out after that. Also, another kick in the pants is firmware updates. Even though it shows an available update, once you try you will get a preparing to reboot message and the device never does. Overall this thing gets 3 stars. The hotspot is stable usually, the screen mirroring works though not with all devices, the HDMI input works very well and finally the 10,000 milli amp battery for external power is nice. Sprint on the other hand would get 1 star. They push the Spark service, but where will you see it? the 4g is spotty, and the plans are ridiculously expensive and limited for a hotspot. Never the less, I own it, and I use it... It serves it's purpose, after building and tweeking my photography system around it. I would NOT recommend this to a friend. At least not until the device is stable on all the points it's being sold on.

I was dissapointed to find out after I purchased this product that screen mirroring does not work. There is a software update that needs to happen and it has been months since an update has even been released. No information on when an update will come out. Uses old android software so I wouldn't hold my breath.
