If your buying read this review first!
Posted .Alright I was going to leave a terrible review but I stopped my self because it was not savage or the lights that was my main problem. It was Best Buy, keep in mind I buy all sorts from cameras to laptops with best buy because of their good damage coverage and return policy. But there is a line when it comes to things being open box... that's fine if your buying "open box" but if I buy something under the impression it was new and its not then I have a problem! -lighting good and possibly cheap to replace bulbs! They dim and are cooled not to loud though -remote worked and dims like it should along with off on up to 4 channels I believe so you can get more and use it for all the lights seperatly ( but keep in mind these are cheap price wise like real cheap compared to some lighting kits and the remote reflects that some it is not high quality and one box the batteries where idk messed up) - the stand --I do like the quick release and easy set up ..this could be positive to some negative to others, but they are light weight and feel a bit cheap and wouldn't sit still in the wind --still they work good and are light to pack and move around -the umbrellas are very cheap and the first set I got was bad, I felt like someone dropped the ones and bent them then returned the item saying it was good because both umbrellas where bent and a mess in some way and wouldn't work ***but the second set work fine and where replaced by Best Buy so they will work and I will possibly just order more incase they break ** * they sent me the second box set with no charge and it seems to be fine but I wish the first one would have been in new condition So over all not bad for the price but the first box I ordered and received had to have been opened prior to me receiving and I thought wow this is cheap to be broke so easy .... but its not the case when they sent the next box it was all wrapped up and looked a lot better then before! But again make sure to check and if anything in your box looks out of the ordinary I would get in touch with Best Buy because the second box go was good other then the giant hole in the side of the box which will be fine because the product inside worked and wasn't damaged..... but honestly I think Best Buy should do better when shipping out things that are fragile and what if this was a gift I wouldn't have wanted to give it to someone with the box all taped up and a huge hole taped over as well. Anyway just be sure that if your going to get this lighting kit know what your buying its not $1000 for a reason, its on the cheap side but that to me means its replaceable and I can buy more. So if you need something that will produce good light and its not needed for outdoor use at all and would not super concerned about the remote being cheap plastic .....But ! if you are looking for amazing sturdy lights that will be silent and make your studio look super professional then maybe go with a little more expensive brand. Thanks for reading and if you have a small budget give these lights a try thats why they got the 4 stars I knew what I was buying something lower priced they do what I need .....we will see how long they hold up one last thing I wouldn't consider these to really be portable, they come with a case but its very soft and wouldn't keep the lights and umbrellas safe if something landed on it------ if you have a different box then they would be pretty easy to move and set up only a few min.

Q: QuestionDoes anyone know why there is a Prop 65 lead warning label (in California) on the box? Is there lead somewhere in this product? Thanks!
Asked by Curious.
- A:Answer It probably doesn't have lead in it. Prop 65 applies to all things that can theoretically cause cancer or birth defects. This includes things like asprin, alcohol, caffine, weed, birth control, soft cheeses, fish, and a ton of other things that are safely used in regular life alongside all of the very nasty and deadly stuff like lead. Lead isn't common in products anymore, and it would most likely be clearly marked or else they would have lawsuits on their hands. That being said, I am not the creator of the product, so I absolutely cannot definitvely say if it does or does not contain lead, that's just my take on it.

Q: QuestionCan I add a sync cord to my camera to all auto fire synced with my camera flash?
Asked by JustRad.
- A:Answer These are constant lights, so there is no syncing. The lights just remain on.

Q: QuestionI got this kit as a gift and I did not have any instructions with it. So I am just wondering, how in the world do I attach the lens filters so that I can warm and cool the light? The two filters included in the kit don't seem to work with the lights.
Asked by MRBlair.
- A:Answer The clear plastic on the light bulbs can actually unscrew. After you do so, you can then replace it with the warm/cool filter.
