Schwinn 170 stationary bike

I’m 76 years old and put the bike together myself in less than 1 hour. It runs smooth and quietly. Very happy with my purchase.

Decent upright exercise bike

We have used it for 20-30 minutes every day since its arrival. It’s a decent upright bike. Not health club quality but seems sturdy enough for 2 adults to use daily. So far we enjoy using it. It’s not fancy with computer type screens but it gets the job done.

It has a few preprogrammed workouts you can use or you can set up your own. You don't have to manually change the resistance like on other workout bikes. I am also able to change the amount of time I want for my workout. This one does not have a TV but I wasn't looking for anything like that. I either listen to my audio book or ipod.

Took me 1 1/2 hours (by myself) from time I opened box to syncing it with Bluetooth and riding. Great programs! Don’t spend $200 on assembly- u can do it. Sooooo quiet!

Nice bike, good value

I did need help just to hold the console mast up while I clicked the cables together. One nice feature is that you can save 4 users names on the bike. Not sure if the heart rate feature is working. Overall am pleased and would recommend.

Overall this bike could use some work for the price. The biggest downside by far are the seat tightening bolts that do not have enough room for adjustment without scratching the frame with the tool. Shipping could have been handled better as well as some parts arrived scratched/dented. Might consider a different bike when/if this one needs replacing.

- A:Answer No additional purchases are necessary to exercise on this bike. It is Bluetooth compatible with the Schwinn app as well as Apple Health. The Schwinn app can also sync with My Fitness Pal.

- A:Answer Yes, for an extra fee, Best Buy will assemble the bike and deliver it. It can be assembled off-site and then delivered to your residence. Or another option is to have it delivered first and then have the Geek Squad assemble it at your residence. When placing the on-line order, select the delivery and assembly option you would prefer. The fees are listed along with the options. You will also have a place to detail your delivery request, i.e. which room to set it up in. We were pleased with the extra service provided and felt the charges were reasonable.

Q: QuestionWhere can I get a bigger cushy seat for this?

- A:Answer Very good question. After much searching I thought I had found a place in Florida (I live in Oregon) that carries a cushier seat that would fit this bike. About a week after I ordered it they emailed me and said they were out of stock, had no idea when they would be getting more of them and they refunded my money. I was very disappointed but I will keep looking. If I can find one I will let Best Buy know and they can contact you.

- A:Answer Hello Richard, You will need 2 wrench of same size and you can tighten it up. Make sure when you tighten up you keep it straight or ask someone to help holding it.

Q: QuestionIf you want to move the bike between rooms and/or between upstairs and downstairs, how heavy is it? Is it easy to move?

- A:Answer It's amazingly light. Moving between rooms is easy as their are wheels on one end, so tilting it and moving it is very easy. Carrying it upstairs may require 2 people, not because of the weight, but it may be a bit bulky for one person. Otherwise, very easy to move.
