Great bike

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I wanted to upgrade my felt pad spin bike but didn’t want to go with one of the bikes with a screen. This is one of the best options on the market in my opinion. It has connectivity with a few different apps and is a solid bike! I love being able to see my resistance, speed and miles ridden. I don’t love the read out for cadence but I am usually connected to an app so I am able to use that to see my cadence. Otherwise I’m super happy I went with this one and through Best Buy, you can’t beat their delivery protocols over fedex or ups beating my bike up and just leaving it on the porch.

Great alternative to peloton
|Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Design, PriceI chose this bike as a cheaper alternative to peloton. I loved the design, magnetic wheel, and that it came with weights. I also wanted a bike to hold my tablet so instead of relying on peloton’s tech, I had my own that I could use with their membership or any other’s for that matter. I was able to put the bike together by myself in about an hour or so, instructions were easy to follow and they already had the screws in the places they needed to be which saved so much time. The design isn’t flawless as I had issues with being able to tighten the handlebar lever because the bottle holder piece was in the way. I won’t be able to adjust the handlebars forward and backward, but I can at least adjust the seat. The bike came with spd cleats which I was really happy to see. They worked perfectly on my new cycling shoes. I’ve done about 5 rides and it’s very quiet and the seat is comfortable. Peloton is definitely the smoother ride, there feels like a bit of resistance even when you’re on zero for the Schwinn, but for the price, I would purchase this bike again.

So happy with my purchase!

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Product constructionAfter driving myself crazy researching on what bikes to get, I finally decided on the IC4. I was so excited to get this bike that I put it together the very minute it got in the house. I changed the pedals out so I could use my spin shoes and off I went. The bike is so quiet and sturdy. I’m able to ride in or out of the saddle. The iPad/tablet holder is great if I want to do a spin class on YouTube, Peloton or use Explore the World. The only thing I had trouble with is getting used to the tension. It isn’t the same as the bike I'm used to at the spin studio, but that’s ok. I’ll get used to it. It isn’t a deal breaker for me. As far as assembly, I did have trouble with the handlebars since I wasn’t able to get the knob to rotate completely. I can’t quite explain it, but just check out assembly videos on YouTube and some people mention it. :) The assembly for the bike took me a little over an hour.

I think for the price you can’t beat it!

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:PriceMy wife previously had a Peloton bike and I think this bike is actually better for shorter riders. You can adjust the handle bars and seat forward and backwards which you couldn’t do on the Peloton. The bike also has a better warranty than the Peloton. You also save a lot on the Peloton app because it’s only $12.99, you don’t have live classes but my wife is fine with that. You also get to see your cadence on a Ipad without having to add anything. The bike is very quite and my wife is very happy.

Everything I wanted for less than a 1k
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5Works just like any spin bike but the feature to have your cadence in the Peloton app and show on their leaderboard is awesome. You aren’t rank but you are visible as a member and if you wanted to count where you rank in a live class I suppose you could. The “gears” are not the same as a Peloton but the conversion has been complete and is available with a Google or Etsy search. Hands down worth every penny. My only two complaints are how the adjustment knobs for sizing aren’t all that easy to use. In my case, I’m the only one using the bike so now that I’m set it’s fine but you can’t easily do while riding. Next, the placement of the water bottle holders is inconvenient for larger bottle like a Hydroflask. They could have put them someplace else on the handle bars or behind the set. But it’s fine I just use regular bike water bottles now instead.

Terrific bike

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Cons mentioned:InstructionsReally pleased with my purchase, the bike has been great - stable and good quality. The instructions for putting it together could be better. It’d also be great if the bottle holders were placed differently as a regular size water bottle might hit your knees but honestly it’s a minor issue I just have a smaller fatter water bottle.

Q: QuestionWhat is the estimated time to receive the item? On the Schwinn site they are estimating a 60 day delivery.
Asked by LF2020.
- A:Answer They didn't even bother to call me to notify that there would be no delivery. Got an email, though, in the middle of the night saying oopsie... Had been waiting patiently since the order date of 6/18 for a delivery on 7/24. End of August is what they're now saying. Super not happy!

Q: QuestionDoes this have Bluetooth connectivity and a charging connector for the tablet? Just trying to figure out how comparable this is to the bowflex.
Asked by Realist.
- A:Answer It's exactly the same bike as the Bowflex, there's literally nothing different than the colors and logos.

Q: QuestionWhy is it $200 more expensive than on Schwinn's site?
Asked by Chris.
- A:Answer I’m sure Best Buy will price match it considering the lower price is on the manufacturers website

Q: QuestionToday is JUne 4, but bike is still not available when I went online to purchase. Do you know when this bike will be available for shipping?
Asked by Sand.
- A:Answer You have to be quick on the draw. I just randomly checked last night 6/8 at 3 am and they had in stock so I jumped on it. Checked once again this morning and they had already been sold out. Seems like they put in in stock every so often but have very limited numbers. If you see one in stock, jump on it quick or someone else will. Mine should be here in about a month.

Q: QuestionAnyone who ordered this bike receive it earlier than estimated delivery date?
Asked by Lillylady08.
- A:Answer Don't assume that. 5 weeks ago i scheduled my delivery for tomorrow and they just called to say they cant deliver it and are pushing it another 6 weeks

Q: QuestionBest Buy team - do you know if/when this will be available in the San Francisco Bay Area? If I know that this bike will be available through Best Buy sometime in the next 60 days, I'd like to purchase it. (Else Amazon or Dick's seem to be options...)
Asked by WantToSpin.
- A:Answer I highly recommend buying it through Amazon or another retailer besides Best Buy. I tried ordering it through here when it was in-stock and each time it was scheduled for delivery, it never showed up and they blamed it on inventory inconsistencies (despite me having a scheduled delivery date and time). After having this happen to me three times, I got fed up of their poor customer service and inconsistent delivery dates and checked Amazon. Luckily, it was in-stock. I ordered it via Amazon and received it in less than a week!

Q: QuestionIs there a way to be put on a list or this bike ahead?
Asked by Jbike.
- A:Answer I just watched it at random times once or twice a day and it was finally available. Took me about a month and it was available for a few hours At the end of July before they sold out.
