It's good...Love it!...It's not as large an aperture as I'd like and I'm not that fond of plastic mounts, but it's hard to argue with a wide-angle lens on an APSC for that price....Needless to say, I had to return the lens and ended up with the Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 which is a MUCH better video lens that is still decently wide-angle.
With an STM (stepping motor) and focus mechanism, this Canon EF-S 9519B002 zoom lens allows you to record ultrasharp videos or capture crisp photos using your compatible Canon camera. The UD lens element helps you take highly realistic images.
I like it...nice !...It zooms really well, the IS is great, and the plastic build keeps the weight down....was second guessing this extra getting this lenes over just gettig 18-135 a little but of a pain if I need a wider shot but I glad I have the 250
Snap sharp, vibrant photos at a distance with this Canon EF-S 8546B002 telephoto lens, which features a 55-250mm focal length for flexible zooming and optical image stabilization to reduce the effects of camera shake.
Good lens...Excellent lens....the new cheaper lenses have a plastic coupling that many reviewers complained that it breaks....Really great for wide shots of architecture and landscapes, and zoomed in nice results of portraits/close-ups - the textures/tones captures can be quite rich actually.
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24–85mm f/3.5–4.5G ED VR Standard Zoom Lens: This all-purpose zoom lens is ideal for amateur and professional photographers. The focal length covers a broad range, allowing you to snap stunning travel photos, portraits and close-ups. Tripod detection and vibration reduction help you create the sharpest images possible.
So good....Good item...It is a light, clear, bright, fast and accurate focusing lens, even in dark shots on my DSLRs (EOS5D Mark II) But for video users without an external microphone it is nosy....I'm absolutely in love with the photos this lens allows me to capture, but if you are looking at lenses, keep in mind that this lens does not have the option to zoom in and out.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Standard Lens: Capture important moments in your life with this standard lens, which works with your compatible Canon DSLR EF-mount camera. A circular aperture with 7 blades helps you add creative background blur.
I love it...Great fun...best 50mm for the buck, crazy sharp, 1.8 is good for low light and to use for a shallow DoF and in my oppinion is the best lens to start with for a DX body, so you learn how to possition your self....This is a super bargain for any Nikon photographer, the amazing bokeh that this lens produces which is the out of focus background places all emphasis on the subject being photogrpahed.
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G Standard Lens: A perfect everyday lens for any photographer, the AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G offers fast autofocusing combined with an integrated lens coating to deliver clear and crisp images. The wide-open aperture is ideal for low-light shooting and creating images with beautiful background blur.
a must buy...Great one...I use this lens with my D300s: it is very good for low light shooting, very good for portraits(my best pics were with this inexpensive lens),I find it hard to remove the lens from the camera because its so versatile....Then, I realized it is great if you are taking a portrait outside in open space (blurs background so nicely), but not useful when you want to take portrait in indoor... For casual dinner event, you'll find yourself right against the wall to take an ordinary portrait shot.
Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G Standard Lens: Whether you're a beginner or professional, you'll love this compact, lightweight lens from Nikon. The normal angle of view captures approximately what the human eye sees, making it a great all-around lens. Plus, the f/1.8 maximum aperture is ideal for creating softly blurred backgrounds and shooting in low light.
Good lens...NOT BAD...I didn't use a tripod so the camera may be fine if you want to carry a tripod around all the time, but really, just spend an extra hundred dollars to get the 55-250mm lens with IS....It's good for people who use tripods mainly using lenses such as these but if you are hand held most of the time and active, probably not the best choice....Outside getting a combo lens (more money) this was excellent value included in the canon black Friday combo.
Canon EF 75–300mm f/4–5.6 III Telephoto Zoom Lens: An ideal lens for photography enthusiasts who want to take their creativity to the next level, this telephoto zoom lens provides a long focal reach for taking close-ups shots from a distance. Take action shots while sitting on the sidelines at games and events, photograph wildlife without getting too close and capture incredible details on your next vacation.
Love it!...Good len....I'm still learning as I go on photography but I love the additional zoom capability this lens provides and it doesn't hinder image quality whatsoever....The 6000 is not the latest model, and may not have all the bells and whistles of the 7000, but at 24 megapixels, this is quite an excellent camera....My purchase was an especially good deal as I bought it on Black Friday as part of a package but was then able to return the rest of the package for an adjusted refund.
Designed for use with most Sony Alpha E-mount cameras, this Sony SEL55210/B telephoto lens features Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, so you can capture images in crisp detail. The 2 ED (extra-low dispersion) elements help ensure color accuracy.
Thumbs up...I love it...Usually I'm torn between getting a lens that is meant for full frame and doesn't have the combination of proper field of view, aperture, and price, but this lens is a great addition to Canon's lineup that rewards crop sensor owners....It gets the job done, and still takes great pictures, but I'd much rather slap on the huge telephoto lens because I feel the pictures come out so much better.
Capture stunning images of wide perspectives with this Canon 9522B002 EF-S wide-angle lens that features an aspheric lens element for high image quality from the center to the edges. The circular, 7-blade aperture delivers soft backgrounds.
Love it...PRO LENS...Never shoot below 1/125 shutter speed anyway so not quite sure how IS performs compared to non-is but it is definitely sharper than the non-is version....For me this means being able to get bright blur free images of my 4 year old's dance recital in a dark auditorium without using a flash (at higher ISO settings).
Canon EF 70–200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Telephoto Zoom Lens This telephoto zoom lens is an essential tool for professional photographers and skilled amateurs. The variable focal length makes it useful for photographing a broad range of subjects, and the 2.8 maximum aperture functions well in low-light situations. Snap candid portraits, stop the action at sporting events or compose wedding photos with exceptional blurred backgrounds.
Great Lens!...A Must Have...Mind you I am a total amateur and dabbler photographer and have taken only one photography class but I get compliments on my photos because they look more abstract than others I've taken....The focus is crisp and fast, while being near silent for those times you want to play with hd video (most are loud enough to be perceptible in the captured audio).
Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Standard Lens: This Canon 50mm lens has an unusually large maximum aperture so you can get detailed pictures even in low light without needing a flash. It's excellent for basic portraits and scenic shots, especially at night.
Great Item...Nice lens!...The OSS or stabilizing feature adds to the cost of this lens, but is important because this is not built into the above noted Sony cameras....If you're trying to decide to pick between this and the 35mm f1.8, just know that the 35mm is more of an all-around lens and this one kind of compliments it.
Customize your Sony Alpha camera with this Sony prime lens for enhanced picture quality. OSS image stabilization reduces blurring for crisp, clear images, and the direct manual focus switches from autofocus to manual focus effortlessly. Boasting a 50mm focal length, this Sony prime lens lets you zero in on the perfect shot.
Not Bad...Best Lens...Nikon - AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Zoom Lens for Select Nikon DX-Format Digital Cameras- Nice lens and with High quality...Not as fine as a prime lens, of course, but for an all-purpose still or, especially, video lens, it's a good choice, albeit slightly pricey.
Cover every shot with this all-in-one Nikon 18-140mm camera lens that lets you zoom from wide-angle to telephoto without missing a beat. Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass creates amazing contrast, and the zoom enables crisp images as close as 1.48 feet away. This Nikon 18-140mm camera lens features a Silent Wave Motor (SWM) for super quiet clicks.
Super Lens...Very good...while you could find more expensive long shot lenses, perhaps with finer picture, you will not regret the ease of use and good pics you get with this lens....It's also great for portraits, where you can get further away physically and zoom in for more flattering perspective of faces (and good blur of backgrounds, too).
With Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, this Sony NEX SEL55210 lens makes it easy to take clear, steady photos and videos with your Sony NEX digital camera. The 3.8x zoom lets you hone in on distant subjects from far away.
Love it !...Good lens...Although limited by the maximum aperture that you can only achieve with a prime lens, this is a perfect workhorse lens for a variety of situations....BB doesn't have a great customer service dept compared to some much smaller companies, and I feel that I just got lucky on my 3rd try getting a knowledgeable rep that can make a decision on replacing my lens.
Canon EF 24–70mm f/2.8L II USM Standard Zoom Lens: Built to handle the demands of professional use, this lens is durable as well as dust- and water-resistant. Fluorine coatings on the front and rear surfaces keep smudges and fingerprints to a minimum.
