About This Item

SKA DREAM is a complete re-recording of Jeff Rosenstock's critically-acclaimed 2020 record NO DREAM however this time around all the songs are ska songs you're welcome. The very good idea to make this record came together when, like many other bands throughout this pandemic that refused to participate in super spreading events, we were trying to find a fun way to make some music together to share with people. Otherwise we were just spending our evenings texting the group chat in dread about the collapsing world around us. Not the most fun band activity. As with most things ska in my life, what started out as a fun goof with friends eventually morphed into InchHey, what if we tried to make it good though?Inch All of us have a pretty deep history playing and touring the country in punk/ska bands. We all understand the stigma that comes along with ska, we've all dealt with the pitfalls of it, and we've all kept on truckin' regardless. If you are one of those people who loves music as long as it isn't ska, that's cool, we see you. This record isn't for you and you don't have to listen to it. Byeeee.Okay, everyone else, we see you too, we love you and check it out, SKA DREAM is real. Album Tracks 1. No Time to Skank 2. Airwalks (Alt) 3. Skram! 4. S K a D R E a M 5. Horn Line 6. P I C K I T U P 7. Leave It in the Ska 8. The Rudie of Breathing 9. Old Skrap 10. *Ska 11. Monday at Back to the Beach 12. Checkerboard Ashtray 13. Ohio Porkpie

The Cure - Three Imaginary Boys - VINYL LP

The undisputed leaders of the early gothic scene, and a seminal band that contributed to the rise of British post-punk, The Cure recorded their debut album Three Imaginary Boys at London's Morgan Studios and released it in May 1979. After touring for almost all of 1977, the band changed their name to The Cure and rearranged their line-up with the sacking of Porl Thompson, giving birth to an unusual power trio. This line-up lasted only for their first album, making it unique in its essentially minimal sound. The year was now 1978, and the three (imaginary?) boys soon signed to Chris Parry's Fiction tag. Album Tracks 1. 10 15 Saturday Night 2. Accuracy 3. Grinding Halt 4. Another Day 5. Object 6. Subway Song 7. Foxey Lady 8. Meathook 9. So What 10. Fire in Cairo 11. It's Not You 12. Sufjan Stevens - Carrie & Lowell - VINYL LP

Carrie & Lowell sounds like memory it spans decades yet does not trade on pastiche or nostalgia. Stevens's gauzy double-tracked vocals wash across the dashboard of long-finned, drop-top Americana, yet as we race towards the coast we are reminded that sunshine leads to shadow, for this is a landscape of terminal roads, unsteady bridges, traumatic video stores, and unhappy beds that provide the scenery for tales of jackknifed cars, funerals, and forgiveness for the dead. Each track in this collection of eleven songs begins with a fragile melody that gathers steam until it becomes nothing less than a modern hymn. Sufjan recounts the indignities of our world, of technological distraction and sad S*x, of an age without neither myths nor miracle - and this time around, his voice carries the burden of wisdom. Carrie & Lowell accomplishes the rare thing that any art should achieve, particularly in these noisy and fragmented days By seeking to understand, Sufjan makes us feel less alone. Album Tracks 1. Death with Dignity 2. Should Have Known Better 3. All of Me Wants All of You 4. Drawn to the Blood 5. Eugene 6. Fourth of July 7. The Only Thing 8. Carrie & Lowell 9. John My Beloved 10. No Shade in the Shadow of the Cross 11. Blue Bucket of Gold
