allright where to start? umm how bout the awesome plot. you start off as a skate border known sometimes as the legend. you come into after takeing a big face plant on tv and decide to start your own line of boards with reda. you come across many challenges along the way none too difficult if you palyed skate 2. the only new thing abot the game is that you build your own skate team after completing various tasks to sell boards. the only bad thing is that it seems like every year the customability of your character gets crappyer. but besides that its great. oh what i almost forgot, they added new animations like guns and stuff or the fist bump. it awesome, just buy it.

I had the first Skate and I didn't like it at all. I got confused and couldnt figure it out. It seemed like one just big free roam in a city. I took it back. Skate 2... didnt look at. Skate 3 - Friends said it was great and it looked good. I wasnt sure if I wanted it or not but I did get it and im glad i made that decision! I love the game and at the time I got it I understood the way the map (i guess you would call it that) worked. It was so much easier to complete missions/do tricks or compete in events. It is a lot of fun if you are the casual free roamer or the competition/tricks person.

The controls and the gameplay is a lot easier than previous editions. Don't even skateboard but this game is on point. I would suggest getting this game. Purchased for a teenaged family member, and he reports that it was a little more challenging than he had initially envisioned but he loves the amount of customizations the game module allows. This makes it more interesting to play frequently. Have been too busy to actually play it for any extended amount of time.

skate 3 takes what skate and skate 2 build upon and blew it out the water. the team up option is amazing as you and your friends can tem up to rise the leaderboards and take down other teams ina variety of online multiplayer matches. the graphics stay stunning and the music score is great. the controls take in such a stance that it makes you feel like ur in complete control of everything you do

This game is literally the only game I can play without thinking about anything. It's so relaxing It is the only skateboarding game that a skateboarder can play and say "Hey this makes me want to go skate today." The downside is the online is riddled with children and the skate.create features are not functional anymore and lack support

Played the game when it first came out, traded it in, and recently purchased it again due to the desire to once again skate the street of Port Carverton. Easily the most polished and smooth experiences in EA's Skate franchise. If you like skateboarding sims, or fun on four wheels, then now is the time to grab a controller and ride!
