A: I was having difficulty finding a unit that had the proper finish, glass doors and a center channel opening. Is also wanted something that would complement the 86” screen. The price was a bit daunting but the workmanship seems to be good with clean fit and finish and solid construction. I balked a bit at the price but it was pretty much just what I was looking for and I needed to consolidate my components.
A: I would strongly advise placing furniture pads under each of the six legs. The cabinet weighs nearly 300 pounds, and would most certainly mar a wooden floor. Given the wiring typically associated with A/V cabinets, there will be be times when you need to access your A/V components from the back. So, furniture pads are a must.
