• Innovative Hologram AF technology.: Focuses accurately in dark conditions with little contrast by projecting a visible Class 1 laser hologram pattern directly on the subject, then detecting contrast between the pattern edge and the subject itself.

• Intelligent auto pop-up flash.: Built-in flash provides appropriate illumination for quality brightness and color under many lighting conditions. A series of preflashes reduces the probability of red-eye by coaxing the subject's pupils to contract.
• Select manual controls.: Override automatic features and gain greater creative control with a manual focus ring, full zoom range, zebra pattern, color bars, spotlight compensation and spot focus and metering.
• USB streaming and i.LINK interface.: USB streaming sends live and recorded video and audio over the Internet to family and friends and enables videoconferencing. Integrated i.LINK (IEEE 1394) DV port allows high-speed bidirectional data transfer.
• Bluetooth wireless technology.: Wirelessly transfer still images and MPEG video from Memory Stick to send e-mail over the Internet, or simply surf the Web right from the camcorder (requires optional modem adapter).
